When you're done relaxing, take a walk through the woods on the 13 mile Lake Adger Trail that runs through the wooded part of our property or take your boat for a spin on the 438 acre Lake Adger (marina is just a short drive down the road). The home itself boasts a two story great room open to the kitchen and dining area, complete with a long island and wood-burning stove for chilly mountain evenings. The upstairs accommodates a spacious master suite with a queen bed, full bathroom and walk-in closet. The cozy loft space is perfect for work, play, or relaxation. Step out on the loft's balcony to watch the deer play in the backyard. The downstairs has two guest bedrooms; one sleeps two with a queen bed, the other sleeps four with a twin over full bunkbed with a pull-out twin trundle bed tucked away. There's an additional full bathroom in the main hallway on the first floor, across from the full-size washer and dryer. The expansive deck wraps around three sides of the home adding 875 square feet of covered outdoor space to relish the mountain views and morning sunrise. While the property itself is private and secluded, it is conveniently located to all of the amenities the area has to offer. This stunning cabin is 14.3 miles to Chimney Rock State Park, 13.6 miles to the Beach at Lake Lure, and 10.8 miles to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC). Mill Spring and the foothills are also home to some of North Carolina's finest wineries, with over 5 active wineries available to visit in the immediate area. This home is located just 35 minutes from downtown Hendersonville; 55 minutes from Asheville; and about 1.5 hours from Charlotte, North Carolina. Also nearby are Pisgah National Forest (less than 1 hour from Lake Lure), which has over 500,000 acres of protected forest, and DuPont State Recreational Forest (1.25 hours from Lake Lure) with over 10,000 acres. These forests feature hundreds of miles of hiking, biking, horse trails, exquisite waterfalls, and beautiful mountaintop views. The Lake Lure/Chimney Rock/Mill Spring area is conveniently situated for outdoor adventure, including horseback riding, tubing, water sports, hiking; museums and theater; the Biltmore Estate and Village, shopping and restaurants; and so much more.
