Wine Country Villas

Wine Country Villas was excellent, we stayed in a 2 bed villa which has two good sized bedrooms. The place was very clean and well presented with all main items provided, including plenty of beach towels alongside the fridge stocked for breakfast. Checkin was easy as they send you a code on the day which allows you to access the property, so very Covid Safe. The lovely balcony deck is great to sit and enjoy breakfast and the view of Hunter Valley, and the pool is great. The kids loved it. The location is good and a very short drive to all the Vineyards and Hunter Valley Gardens, and a 15 min drive to Cessnock if you need to go to the Supermarkets. The only area of improvement would be replacing some of the pans as they were very old and unusable, something which should be a quick fix.

Fantastic stay on n the heart of the Hunter valley. Location was excellent, close to great food options and wineries. Accommodation was nice and clean and having a balcony was really nice for breakfast or for an afternoon drink before going out to dinner. The breakfast supplies were perfect.

We loved our stay here. The villa was lovely, we enjoyed sitting on the deck with a wine watching the kangaroos graze. We enjoyed the included breakfast of muffins and eggs and juice. Great idea to have in the fridge on our arrival. We also loved the pool, it was very hot and the pool was so refreshing which we had to ourselves mostly. Most importantly the bed was really comfortable. The hosts were friendly and we would highly recommend staying here.

Couldn’t wish for better views and tranquil setting. No fuss, no hassle - clean and well-equipped. Would have liked handrail on steps in the villa as I have some mobility issues. Swimming pool added bonus for early morning swims. Definitely plan to return and to recommend to friends. Only slight downside (outside of accomodation’s control) were large number of potholes on access road!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay in our 2bed villa. Such a great location, close access to all the action, perfect distance away to enjoy the peace and quiet. Each bedroom was a good size with comfy beds and for 3 adults the bathroom worked well. The shower was hot and had great water pressure. The towels get a special mention as they were super-sized bath sheets and so fabulous. The kitchen had everything we needed and the fridge was already stocked with our bacon & eggs, muffins, milk for tea & coffee, and juice for our breakfast. The complimentary and generously stocked basket of tea, coffee pods, breakfast jams, butter, biscuits, and condiments, etc were all delicious. There was a BBQ on our deck along with a table and chairs and it was hard to take ourselves away as we lingered over our morning cuppa and gazed over the rolling lawn towards grazing roos. How's the serenity indeed! We lit the fireplace and it was lovely to enjoy a lazy evening red wine...or two. The air conditioning also worked well, especially in the early morning. We will certainly be back in the warmer months to enjoy the swimming pool which just looked so inviting. Easy to book, fabulous location, staff are warm and friendly, great value for money.
