This hotel has been remodeled and opened as a newer brand for Hilton. My room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast did not have hot items, but had all the things I’d eat (bagels, cereal, yogurt). The price was also better than I expected. A great value!

There were multiple issues with this hotel. The vanity was so low it was as if it was designed for a child. Same with the toilet, extremely low. The light next to the bed which are intended for reading lights, were too bright and very harsh light. The mirror on the wall is hung in such a way that the light from the sink area shines directly into the eyes of anyone on the bed. And there was no luggage rack in the room or convenient place to set a suitcase. At the price point for the hotel and having been remodeled, I expected better. Not really up to Hilton standards.

Bathroom and floor covered in dirt or black stuff. TV did not work. Breakfast was barely more than coffee and cold cereal. Or store bought pastry. After we got home, there was an extra $100 charge to our account. Manager said it was for damages, towels that were not clean and had to be replaced. That was a lie. So FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO STAY HILTON SPARK WILL RIP YOU OFF!!

Decided to give this new Hilton brand called Spark a go. If you’re not familiar with the Spark brand for Hilton - it’s basically taking very old dilapidated hotel properties and remodeling them under the Spark by Hilton name. However the remodeling standards at this property were super low. For example the doors of the rooms were old and beat up, the carpet had gaps where you could see cement under the door thresholds, the bathroom door would not close all the way, also had plumbing issues with the sink draining slowly. The stay was a severely disappointing experience. The hotel should have been torn down and rebuilt not remodeled. Stay away from this property.

KRISTIAN IS THE BOMB He is very proactive, he takes the initiative to help a customer before the customer asks for help and he also anticipates in customer needs. He is very communicative, persuasive, polite, patient, conscientious, and has loyalty. I definitely will recommend this hotel especially if he’s present.❤️

I’m a Hilton honors member so I was interested in checking out their new no-frills brand Spark. Not bad. The Spark property in Plymouth is a former Comfort Inn that’s been refurbished pretty decently. Rooms are basic, yet clean and with comfortable beds and new linens and towels. Breakfast is simple - no protein - but a bagel bar, yogurt and some cereal. And Folger’s (!) coffee.

Getting to the point, we stayed 2 nights for a convention. The first night around 11pm I hear loud noises from the hallway only to see the room door come open and 4 men (under the influence) walk into the room using a room key just given to them from the front desk. As a single woman this was frightening. The men were nice, thankfully and agreed to go back to the front desk. One gentleman commented, “they said there may be someone in this room but weren’t sure.” UM Who assigns a room if they aren’t sure and why weren’t they sure??? There was NO Apology or any kind of compensation made for this experience. I contacted the corporate office only to be told that I needed to contact the location for billing issues. It wasn’t a billing issue; it was an invasion of space that I rented issue. This seemed to be a business-as-usual incident for them. I did not feel safe and barely slept. I will not stay at any choice hotels going forward including Hampton by Hilton as they are apparently taking over the Plymouth Comfort inn. This was an awful experience. The hotel itself, may have been ok, however there were mattresses and other furniture in boxes all over the hotel. The room itself appeared to be unfinished. There was no coffee maker or cups, no ice bucket, no drawers, and it didn’t appear the room was cleaned in my absence. Will not go back and DO NOT Recommend.

I don’t even know where to start with this! I didn’t even stay here and I never would! I will never ever stay at a Comfort Inn in my life after my experience with their customer service! It is HORRIFIC! I accidentally made a very HUMAN mistake as I tried to book a room in Plymouth MN! When I checked the reservation, it was made in Plymouth MICHIGAN! Which I didn’t know existed! And is FOURTEEN HOURS FROM WHERE I LIVE! And of course it was for a wedding so I prepaid as we weren’t going to have to cancel! So lo and behold, I call! The girl says I can’t do anything about it, can I have your number and a manager will call you back! Never did that manager call me! So 2 hours and 3 numbers later I talk to someone who says your room is canceled your card will be refunded! Fast forward! A week later, nothing has been done! Another hour plus later, they say they can’t refund my room as Plymouth MI needs to do so! The manager will call me! I laughed! They offered points! I didn’t want points, how would I know they would be enough to cover a different room and I won’t stay with them anyhow! So! The only other option is ZELLE! Which will take 4-7 to get to me, and another 4-7 days for the bank to process! As I was on the line, the manager didn’t call back, but had one of his employees do their job and leave me a message! I couldn’t answer as I was on hold with someone else as he couldn’t do his job! This whole company is an unforgiving, unorganized mess! They WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU! They will just TAKE YOUR MONEY! Praying I get my Zelle payment!
