At almost $200 per night with fees for a 3 night stay.: Room was average at best, breakfast dismal (we ended up going out for breakfast) & public areas like lobby close at 10pm. We were told by staff everyone must be in rooms at 10pm (11pm if you are in the pool, but we were not using the pool). I can understand if we were children but we were grown adults sitting and having a quite conversation. So we tried to sit at the outdoor patio, we were told to go to rooms. It was the most absurd thing I’d ever been told, one staff member said it was due to a hockey group in the past and this policy was implemented for all. Except the policy was not told to us until the staff ran around and hung signs up saying the Lobby was closed at 10pm. This place is VERY lacking in hospitality and customer service, rooms are run down. First time staying here and it will be our last. We were 4 adults trying to sit and talk. If you had an issue last winter with a hockey group, deal with them, do not place your crazy “everyone to their rooms at 10pm rule” on adults in July. I guess I should’ve complained to the desk about the baby crying at 6:30am. Those parents should have been kicked out of their rooms based on your policies.
