St. Giles Southkey

Return stay with my girlfriend. Staffs were friendly however room cleanliness can be improved. There are visible water mark/stains on marble tabletops. One of the robes also reeks of undried laundry. Cleanliness needs improvement. Breakfast was awesome as always!

Great location as it’s linked to Southkey Midvalley mall. Just an overnight stay for me n hubby in an Urban King Room. Room is spacious, clean n comfortable. Bathroom clean n smell ok. I applaud the water point on every floor to save on providing bottle water n cut down on single use plastic 👏🏻 . Overall, a good 4-star hotel. I will certainly return to stay.

Check in at the hotel reception about 2.5 hours before the check in time 3pm, but no rooms are available, however reception proceed to check me in and at my own convenience, I can just collect the room keys at the concierge which is great. I was staying at the 16th floor, room is clean and has a good view, best enjoyed while sitting on the ledge by the windows. Hotel provided welcome drinks which you can enjoy at the bar located on the highest floor. Room comes with 2 slippers, but no bottled water, however you can boil the tap water and store it in the jar provided. Alternatively, just purchase mineral or drinking water from the Supermarket at basement. There are only 3 free hangers for your clothing. The safe is great to keep your passport and valuables. The shower area is spacious with both wall and hand shower heads. The hotel breakfast has a lot of variety from salad, fruits, bread, noodles and egg stations, fried dishes, dim sum, etc. A few fruit juices to choose from and coffee is great from fresh beans brewed with coffee machines. Check out is 12pm but you can always get late checkout up to 1pm, and you just have to do an express checkout by dropping the keys at the concierge. Shopping and dining are conveniently located on the ground floor connected to the hotel. Check out Quivo which serves great drinks and food, or Chinese food.

Nice hotel. Fast check in. Room is clean and comfortable with unblocked river view. Very convenient with a large mall and many other places are withij minutes drive away. Highly recommended.

Love the location & proximity to shopping, food and relaxation. Included breakfast was sumptuous and has a wide selection of local crusine like nasi lemak, pau, waffle, porridge, char kuay teow and also egg station. Standard bread station offers a variety of toast & croissant & various jams and cornflakes. Room was clean & spacious. Love the cozy corner with unblock panaromic view. The windows need cleaning though...

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very attentive to our needs. The location is perfect and just downstairs is the mid valley mall which has everything you need from food to shopping. Will definitely come back on our next trip to JB!
