Booked 5 nights stay at Baymont by Wyndham Plano from Agoda's website on March 19th, 2024. Misled by the Excellent 8.2 rating on Agoda(all other website's review for Baymont by Wyndham Plano is very low). Arrived Baymont by Wyndham Plano around 10:30pm on April 6, 2024. First night and second night felt a little itches in bed and smelled slightly smoking smell. Wyndham's name made me ignored those unpleasant sign. In the morning of April 8th around 9am Ish, my daughter was waked up by cockroaches crawling on her hair and jumped on her face while she was trying to wave it off. She was in panic crying and stood on the chair next to the window while I entered room after my breakfast. I searched everywhere and located the cockroach in bathroom. Obviously this hotel was not in livable and healthy condition. We decided to checked out without any delay. Showing the video to the staff in front desk and told him we had to checked out early. The front desk staff apologized for what we experienced and assured me no need to worry. He would report to his boss and his boss would refund the charge for the unused 3 nights. Two months later, I am still dealing with Agoda and Baymont by Wyndham Plano for getting my 3 nights unused charge as well as compensation on the 2 nights stayed in cockroaches room. Experiences learned: 1. Check more websites for reviews before booking any hotel. 2.Don't trust Agoda's customer service. They only intend to serve Hotel not really consumer. Good attitude, useless fast reply has no other function but waste consumer's time and Agoda's cost of labor. 3. Don't fool by famous hotel chain's name. Not every Wyndham is created Equal.
