The house has been beautifully updated where necessary, furnished and decorated in a unique style. Everything about it (host included) is warm and welcoming. We’ve stayed there twice and we will definitely stay there in future trips to Pittsburgh.

Great host (with lots of knowledge of the city), large rooms with incredible decor (antique, deco, nouveau) and a wonderful breakfast. Quiet location (w/ parking), but close enough to all the fun stuff. We couldn't recommend it more.....

This bed and breakfast is in a historic house on a street with many restaurants/bars. The room was large with a king size bed, sitting area and bath. A full breakfast was served in the dining room. We ate with other couples which was fun. The day of check in, the owner suggested a place for lunch which was within walking distance with very good food. We had a car, but parking was provided at no cost.

My wife and I had an evening away from our Toddlers, and I booked the Oleander room as a surprise. Seeing this mansion in person was even better than the pictures! Every room had a tasteful and thoughtful blend of both Victorian and Caribbean themes, and sitting in the Courtyard felt almost like we were staying in an old mansion straight out of a movie. Ed and Rayzette were wonderful hosts, and the whole place was clean with several places to sit and chat, as well as beautiful antiques. Our room was clean and actually had windows on both sides to be able to let in both the sunset and the sunrise, with a lovely sitting area and fireplace. The ensuite bathroom had a charming clawfoot tub and beautiful accents. Again, everything was clean and well taken care of. Breakfast was filling without being overly heavy (Yogurt Parfait, Stuffed Pancake Bites, among other offerings), and the coffee was great. And although we weren't able to go on this trip, it is within walking distance of several attractions in Pittsburgh, and the off-street parking was a definite plus! We hope to get a chance to be back in the future for a longer stay.

We loved it. Our room was spacious and beautiful. The bed was comfortable, the location quiet. Interesting nooks and crannies, cheery decor. The proprietor was friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfasts were interesting, healthy, and delicious. Definitely recommend it.

My partner and stayed here over Pittsburgh Marathon weekend and it was a fantastic stay! Just a five-minute drive from the startline and a 20ish-minute walk back after. Regarding the inn, it is a beautiful victorian mansion that Ed put so much time into having painted with intricate paintings on the wall. Their senior VP of hospitality is his black lab, Rayzette, and she was very attentive and always greeting us with a tail wag. I missed breakfast because of the race but my partner said it was delicious and super homey! The inn is also right in a neighborhood with a BUNCH of restaurants and shops in the area. All within walking distance. Can't recommend this place enough.

Ed is an attentive, kind, and forthright host. Enjoyed the Parador aesthetics, cleanliness, and garden. Wish I had one of Ed's breakfasts right now. Quiet. Calm environment, cool neighborhood. Easy, safe parking. Will revisit if I go to Pittsburgh

We absolutely loved the Parador! The building is gorgeous, and you can really see all the love and time that has been put into it. Rooms were lovely, spacious, and clean, and I was impressed by the clever use of some of the smaller spaces in my room (Bird of Paradise). Sometimes Victorian spaces and decor can feel heavy or dark--but not at the Parador! The Caribbean flavor balances the heaviness of the lovely antique furniture for an end result that feels beautiful and vintage, but still bright and welcoming. Ed was also great! My traveling companion is immunocompromised and needed some extra safety measures for her health (masking at check in, etc) and Ed was great with our needs. He also had great information and suggestions about the local areas and things to see! We had a wonderful week and hope to stay again in the future!

I love the Parador Inn because it is gorgeous, unique, and I have experienced a welcoming environment on both of our visits to this Inn. This year we brought our dog, yes there are a few dog friendly suites for friendly dogs however, dogs aren't generally allowed in the main living area of the Inn only in the suites with private entrances, as in the 2 carriage house suites and the Bougainvillea suite. Ed was so welcoming to Luna and is just a great host. There are a few improvements that could be made like the beds and couches could be a little more comfortable but the beds are comfy enough. Also, the bathroom sinks are weird and would be better if you didn't have to hold them on, but you just have to get creative with their use. Breakfast is very good. We will be staying here again in the future, hopefully.
