The courses ranged from perfectly cooked meats and fresh vegetables to creamy risottos, refreshing fruit bowls, and decadent desserts. Each dish was thoughtfully presented, and the variety showed the chef’s creativity and passion for fine dining. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help, which made us feel really cared for. It was a perfect mix of relaxation, good food, and good company — a stay we’ll remember fondly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, elegance, and genuine hospitality."

"We are staying here right now and have to say that this Inn is amazing. We had a wonderful warm welcome and everyone has been friendly and helpful. The room is very comfortable with a superking size bed plus another single if needed. Two sofas and spacious. The view of the river from the bedroom is stunning. The food is delicious, from the breakfast to the evening meals. This is a very popular place for good reason. We heartily recommend this Inn and will definitely return!"

"We had a good stay here. Just be aware that they are owned by Westlands nextdoor and check in is there and breakfast is also served there. I didn’t know that when I booked. It was fine, but they appear to be renovating in the dining room. Our rooms were very nice and the gardens are very pretty in front of Claymore."

"A lovely stay with an upgrade to a cottage, all quickly and efficiently arranged. This was a trip in honour of an annual expedition for my late wife Caroline and I to the Pitlochry area for autumn. Caroline always wanted to stay in the lovely cottages so it was fate and her sparkle that helped with the upgrade. Food is incredible and a wide selection of choices along with fantastic, friendly service and drinks. Very good to eat and sit by the river in warmer times. Terrific breakfast too. The cottage was spacious and kept warm. Very comfy. They are not new so you must allow for some quirky spaces and layouts. It was lovely to have that space to relax. Port Na Craig is a 10/15m walk from the town over the suspension bridge or the dam. It's a beautiful walk but be careful near water. Pitlochry is a beautiful town that Caroline and I have enjoyed for years and I'll continue to honour her by visiting. Thanks to the Port Na Craig team for making me so welcome and for the prosecco for toasting Caroline. Much appreciated."
