The Serene House Bed & Breakfast

The Serene House was lovely - beautiful views, delicious breakfasts, and great location for snorkeling Culebra, hiking El Junque, eating at delicious restaurants kayaking the bioluminescent bay, and visiting Old San Juan. Pablo and Maribel are helpful and wonderful hosts.

The Serene House is truly a serene house. Our stay was amazing and relaxing, Maribel and Pablo are super hosts, their place is very beautiful, relaxing, the pool was salt water treated, very clean and the view is a whole different story. Our unit was modern style, very clean and private, we stayed 6 days for our anniversary and the Serene house definitely made our celebration more memorable and special. Thanks to the hosts for a great stay, great conversation and guidance on where to go for fun, and most importantly the exceptional breakfast options made fresh by Pablo every morning. We loved our experience, and we recommend the Serene House for anyone who’s planning a relaxing getaway, it’s a very convenient location close to restaurants and attractions. -Menna & Hady

Pablo and Maribel are incredible; They've created an amazing space where one can disconnect, relax and enjoy. They go above and beyond to make sure their guests are well taken care of. The Serene House is a great option to stay in the east side of the island, with a great location right in the skirts of the rainforest and just minutes away from the beach and lots of eateries close by.

The Serene House was exactly that, the perfect place for a relaxing and peaceful stay. The property was beautiful, very comfortable and we enjoyed all that it had to offer! We can’t speak highly enough of the owners and the homemade breakfast served each morning was delicious. We cannot wait to visit again!

There's a reason the Serene House has 5 starts across various platforms! My partner and I stayed here in March 2025 for 4 nights, and it was definitely a highlight of our trip to Peurto Rico :) Maribel and Pablo are amazing hosts, made us feel comfortable and welcome, and had great recommendations based on our interests. The room was gorgeous and more than spacious for two, the beds were comfy, the showers had great water pressure. We stayed in the room overlooking the pool. As we were gone daily for most of the morning/early afternoon - we pretty much had the pool to ourselves every afternoon when we returned. It was such a treat! Next time we'll be back in one of the casitas. Thank you Maribel and Pablo. We still miss your breakfasts!
