Etruria Airport

We had a very easy one night stay at this apartment when we had an very early flight the next morning. Lorenzo is a great host who is very accommodating making our experience very smooth. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the airport, you can hear the flights but as Pisa is only a small airport they aren’t often. The room was very clean and nice with good air con.

My wife and I were very satisfied with our one night stay here before an early morning flight. Lorenzo the owner was a very helpful and kind young man, he was accommodating with our arrival time, and quick to reply to our texts. The room was as advertised, clean and comfortable with a newly refurbished bathroom. The sheets and towels were soft, and the bed comfy. The location (which along with the reasonable price was our main attraction to the accommodation) was superb, a short 5 minute walk to the airport. You could also stay here as an affordable way to see Pisa and other Tuscan towns via the train, which is another short walk away (about 15 minutes). It’s worth noting that there is an accommodation tax here that has to be paid in cash. For us it was €3 although this may vary depending on your length of stay. The price is no problem, but it is good to know you need cash ahead of time. I walked 3min to an atm to get some cash (they only had €50 notes) and then went into a bar to break it. An interesting experience that I didn’t mind, but would have chosen to avoid by having the cash.
