Great people! we were a little nervous going there, we didn't have a great impression starting out (especially reading other reviews), but I kept an open mind and everyone was very polite, friendly, and helpful. we talked to Mason and he was very nice. We highly recommend Capital.

This place is a joke we had bed bugs and they moved us from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom that the sink and the sofa bed were broke. I have had zero help from the management telling me this wasn’t their issue. My wife’s face swelled and was in pain the whole time. They offered the homeowners very little in return. We also hired a photographer to take pictures for a Christmas card and had to cancel because of the wife’s eye. I’m appalled that a business wouldn’t be interesting in helping out in some way. Especially after the bed bugs then sending us to a smaller unit. I’m not sure what fair compensation would be but something is better than nothing. Please don’t stay at this place. The one picture is my wife’s eye after one day. The others are the bugs we found.

PROS-our unit had been newly remodeled. The king size bed was nice to sleep on. CONS-you had to pay to refill supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, and dishwasher tabs. They don't do towel exchange and expect you to do it with the 2 detergent packs they left for you to wash your own towels with the washer and dryer in the unit. You have to do the talk with them which lasted over 2 hours. It's an 'owner' thing. We have stayed at other Capital Vacation locations and were never treated as badly as we were here.

Filthy room and we had to change rooms in middle of the night.because we found bed bugs. They relocated us to new room and told us the next day that there were no bugs, so we gave them the one that crawled on us. Would never stay here again.

Current guest and the unit we are in is disgusting. Comforter - yellow. Extra comforter - yellow. Extra pillow - disgustingly YELLOW, like a college guy’s pillow that should have been thrown out years ago. The pullout couch - so gross!! Covered in dark brown stains. Outside of the filth - WIFI is down, TV remote was broken (they did replace it) and no one answers the after hours number. Will not be returning. (Tried to add pictures, but due to the wifi being down, I couldn’t)

We have been dealing with an issue and capital vacations since mid-October, Cassie J took this problem and resolved it in one day, she was the first person that told me she would call me back the next day and she did! She is very pleasant to work with and I am so happy she answered the phone that day!

Do not stay here because you will be pressured by a bunch of high pressured former used car salesmen. Who will promise you the world. This lodge was started prior to 2010 when we did a cash purchase which was never finished being built and what you see in 2022 is what you got plus as an owner a bill of over $2500 that no one can explain (they say for maintence for a year ) and if you dont pay they just cancel your reservations and not let you know. I can sure stay at real cabins in the Smokes for that price for one week with all the amenities you could possible want and eat steak every night. Haven't been updated in the least since they were built. Biggest bunch of scammers in the world. Run Forest run away a fast as your can to.

Came into pigeon forge without a reservation , just wanted to ride around, looked at a couple hotels, had a sign at the Great Smoky mountain resort hotel, got an unbelievable three night deal and a jacuzzi suite thanks to Miss Beverly she was joyful and friendly and made our stay..... Outside of that the hotel is a little old, could use some updating, only one of the elevators worked ,had a nice indoor pool with a slide, great for kids, room was comfortable but jacuzzi was small it was only a one person jacuzzi but we made it work ,because like I said it was a great deal for three nights.... you get discounted breakfast at the wood buffet courtesy of the hotel ,so so place, have to save that for another review, but overall it was an enjoyable stay.... Especially thanks to miss Beverly ☺️

The lodges are very outdated ! No counter space in the kitchen . Had to keep food in the living room . Floor tile in kitchen was cracked in several places and makes a cracking sound when your walking . Almost daily we killed various bugs . Couch was terrible . If we each sat on one end of the couch we rolled to the middle . Only one person could sit on couch at a time. Carpet in bedroom was awful and needs replaced badly . Reported all this to management but they really didn’t care . Was told couches are being replaced soon , was asked what type of bugs are they ? Really !!! Would not recommend at all
