Never ended up staying here because I went to book a room on ******* for one night at this hotel and before I confirmed the process, I decided to call the cribs on the hill hotel directly and ask about an early check in as I was attending a wedding and needed to drop my stuff off and check in before I attendant and through my conversation with the lady at the hotel she asked me how much the rate was on ******* and when I told her, she continued to say well you have to stay two nights, and I said no the ******* app says I can book one night, and she got flustered and asked if she could call me back and then never did so then I called her back she told me again that I had to book 2 nights and I said well I’m not paying $650 for a hotel that I only need to sleep in for six hours, and she then said well I’m sorry I can’t help you. When I got off the phone with her , I went back on ******* to book the room for one night as planned and it wouldn’t allow me to because she did something on her end to prevent me from booking it, which I thought was rude because that’s what she did when she was waiting to call me back. I believe she was just being greedy and didn’t want me to stay unless I paid for both nights , which was not stated anywhere on the ******* advertisement for their hotel room. I called ******* and complained. They were nice about it but said it was blocked off as being no rooms available which was unfortunate because there are only a few places to stay in Picton because it’s a small town, and I think they take advantage of that with people because when they have a lot of wedding venues there and people need places to stay, and they charge outrageous amount per night for old outdated accommodations to begin with and then wanted me to book two nights, as if.
