Phu Quoc Kim 2 Beach Front Resort

We didn't stay at the hotel but we did eat in the restaurant about 4 times. Kim and her husband Le are excellent hosts. They have a menu in English which is a great help and Kim and her husband speak reasonable English. The quality and preparation of the food was perfect. It was also lovely to sit by the sea and eat dinner. All in all a brilliant experience. Many thanks.

What a lucky find! Everything about my 5-night stay at Kim 2 was perfect: sea facing bungalow; the small beach is perfect for swimming; the beds are comfortable with mosquito net provided; the pool is at a good temperature and kept clean; the food is amazing - freshly cooked with quality local ingredients. But what makes this place really special is the family who run it. Thank you for a very special stay in your slice of paradise!

This family-run beach resort is a little paradise. As a solo traveler, I often feel overlooked in favor of couples and families, but the warm and attentive hospitality of the family running this resort made me feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Being a light sleeper, I appreciated how they worked with me to find the quietest room, which was incredibly heartwarming. I even upgraded to a bungalow by the sea, where I could sleep with the soothing sound of the waves. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a variety of Western and Asian dishes. Many of the ingredients were organic and homemade, including fruits from their own garden and jams crafted from their harvest. My favorite was the banana pancake with homemade jam and a refreshing mango juice! There were always plenty of free lounge chairs around the pool and in the garden, perfect for relaxing with a book. The private beach, though very small, boasts stunning views, and the swimming pool was just the right temperature—not too cold, making it very inviting. While the resort is only a 15-minute walk to the village's main street with small shops and restaurants, the food at their own restaurant was delicious, so I rarely felt the need to venture out. This resort provided the perfect blend of tranquility, excellent food, and heartfelt hospitality, making it a truly special place to stay. During my 4-night stay, my room was not cleaned at all. Perhaps guests need to request cleaning, which I didn’t do. However, it would have been nice if some cleaning had been done automatically.

This place is beautiful. The beach and water are great and so is the pool. The rooms are good, comfy bed, hot showers and good aircon .What really makes this place special is the own and his wife. They are very special people who will do anything they can to make your stay the best. The food in the resturant is always good , and many guests from other resorts visit the resturant. We visited this area before Kim 2 was built and the owners have made an excellent job of building this resort. I wish Bin and Kim , mum and thier family all the best and thank you for a great stay. Lovely food, wine and staff. If you are staying at a crap luxury hotel on the strip, get a cab and come here for food, wine and a view. Definitely worth the visit, we found on a moped trip. Kim and her staff are fantastic, red wine perfectly acceptable!

Fabulous place, didn't want to leave, right on the waters edge, safe beach, lovely pool. Very quiet and relaxing, away from it all. Lovely staff, came with a cold, Kim looked after me with fresh ginger tea, lovely, we will be back
