Khao Sok Las Orquideas Resort

Nice garden with small, but beautiful swimming pool. Friendly staff, everything nice organized. Very clean bungalows. Breakfast was ok, could be approved with some extras. Wifi was poor, but was replaced by great jungle sounds. Several tours available, well organized

A very unique en beautiful accommodation. When we arrived we were greeted by a very polite and friendly staff. Our luggage was carried to our room which was located up on a steep hill. When you arrive it feels like you are in a jungle, while also being in a luxurious hotel. You hear the sounds of the jungle, while enjoying the delicious food. Would recommend it 100%!

An amazing stay. All the staff were incredibly helpful and looked after us like we were family. Their recommendations of day trips and which tour company to use and the best massage parlour were spot on. They even helped get someone we found medical attention (long story!). Going above and beyond on every occasion. Would highly recommend.

The hotel is located in the mainstreet of Khao sok village, so the restaurants, laundryservices and trip operaters are near to the hotel. The rooms are fine, nice shower, good beds, refrigerator and airco. The swimmingpool is small, but for a quick dive its fine. The owner can inform you clear about the many trips that will be offer you in Khao Sok. For breakfast you can choose from a couple of breakfast dishes, not special but fine.

Near to Khao Sok, Katelyn, Mikel and little Odin manage this very nice resort. It is impressive how this young friendly family is managing this resort. After 3 years Corona they took over the responsibility for the resort some month ago. At the same time her son was born. You don’t feel anything from this strain. With his optimistic and powerful nature Mikel tries to sort out every question and problem he is faced with. The resort itself consists about 20 huts, build up in a mountain. The houses are very stable and comfortable. A little pool is part of the resort, good to refresh after a trip in the national park or other activities. As a coffee junky I want to emphasize the Espresso and Cortato they are serving… first choice Warm wishes and all the best to that wonderful family living their dreams. Chris & Uwe

We decided to stay overnight in Khao sok as part of our holiday. We arrived by bike much earlier than the check in time and were met by Katelyn and their two and a half week old son. Our room wasn’t ready but Katelyn was super friendly and allowed us to leave our bags with her. We headed into town for a wander and something to drink: When we got back we met Michael who was also super friendly and welcoming. They have only recently reopened after taking over and renovating the place. The bungalow we had was lovely and had everything we needed. The grounds were just like being in a rain forest and the small pool was great to cool off in. The location was convenient being just on the edge of Khao Sok village and was a 5 min walk to the bars and restaurants. Breakfast was really chilled and tasty with a number of options, we had the pancakes which were amazing and very filling. Both Michael and Katelyn were amazing hosts and very knowledgeable about the area and able to book trips if required. We both enjoyed chatting to them and which them every success in their adventure. You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay here.
