Rock and Tree House Resort

Amazing and unique experience. This hotel is in the jungle and is all tree house rooms! The staff is friendly and happy to help you. The most fun part was the monkeys. When we arrived it was lunch and the monkeys were everywhere. They were fun to watch. We didn’t see them after that though. The rooms were clean and quite spacious. The air conditioning worked well too. The rooms were a bit outdated but were just fine. The food was good and the service at the restaurant was good.

We stayed here last minute after our planned stay at "Our Jungle House" went south. The staff was very friendly and the site is amazing, and fun for kids, as it really does feel like a tree house in the woods. The pool was lovely and the food was delicious. The servers got our orders wrong a few times, and missed a few things we had ordered due to not understanding us, but were overall kind and generous and did accomodate our request for music. When i left my wallet there accidentally, they arranged for it to be sent to our hotel 3 hours away and all the money was amazingly still inside! The views from the room were incredible and the rooms were very clean and well kept. We were disappointed not to see a single monkey.

Amazing place to stay beautiful scenery. Staff very polite and helpful food fantastic. We had a one night stay. Be prepared for a noisy night bring lots off the mosquito spray it was one of the best experiences of my life. Would definitely recommend at least one night stay. Tour guide very knowledgeable, helpful, and took good care of us

This hotel is one of the nicest in the area. But it's a little less luxurious than the big city hotels. The water for my shower was cold. The breakfast was a little buggy. Lots of mosquitos flying around so spray some repellent before dining. The front desk closes at 9pm so if you have questions ask before then.

Think twice before reserving. The hotel looks great in pictures, but it’s really with the worst maintenance and management I’ve seen in Thailand. The rooms are shabby. Air conditioner doesn’t really cool the room just makes a lot of noise. The room has stains everywhere Monkeys are all over the place , know how to open the windows and doors if unlocked. When trying to evade them they try to attack you in the rooms. My children were terrified Breakfast was terrible and cereal was past its expiration date.

Completely loved my stay at Rock and Treehouse Resort. I was most excited about staying here, I loved the fact that it looked like a huge…treehouse. The stilt rooms, huge rocks, massive old trees and nature surrounding made it such a lovely place to stay. Monkeys trying to steal your things, the sounds of insects every second of the day and night. Just perfect. We arrived from the train station about an hour away and staff were immediately attentive, friendly and helpful on arrival. They took our bags to our room whilst we checked in etc. Gave me some time to have a little look around, it was so peacefully quiet, just the sound of insects. I liked our room. It was clean, cosy and simple. The pool at the resort was ok, cleaned daily and nice to relax in. Nice hot shower, fridge, kettle and various hot drink options. Breakfast was included everyday at the resort, a buffet style thing with the typical eggs, toast, sausages etc. Note there are not many options for vegans, only option was potatoes, fruit and toast. Plus drinks and stuff. So if you’re vegan it would be hard. Would recommend maybe bringing some of your own stuff, there is a fridge in rooms so can store it there. And I’m sure they’d be happy to cook up whatever you give them to cook. Wasn’t so keen on all the bees and wasps that attack you as you’re eating your breakfast lol, so if you’re not keen on them I’d avoid breakfast. We went on a lovely kayak ride down the river with a tour guide at the resort. He was so lovely and gave us some souvenirs. It was an amazing experience. Overall I loved my experience here, I would certainly return.
