La Lechere Guest House

From the time we arrived the hosts greeted us with a smile and made us very comfortable. Showed us to our rooms. The rooms were very comfortable and stylish and there were two lovely pools with a lapa which we could and did use. The breakfast was superb and more than enough varieties to choose from. Would definately recommend this B&B.

We loved our comfortable room. The packed breakfast was deliciously fresh & tasty

We booked 8 rooms for business travel. I was pleasantly surprised. The service is excellent. The rooms are beautifully styled and functional for with a workstation and rest. We requested breakfast and lunch packs which were well balanced and packed in individualised cooler boxes. The staff are very professional and willing to assist with requests.

The hospitality and accommodation as well as the ambience was excellent. I enjoyed my stay at the your place.

A beautifully set, peaceful and tranquil home away from home. Clean rooms and friendly staff who go out of their way to assist their guests. Excellent value for money.

Having travelled a thousand roads and stayed in nearly as many establishments, I know to look for a guesthouse where the owner/operator stays on the premises and where they own dogs (usually warm people). La Léchère Guesthouse ticks both these boxes. A recent two-night stay with my family confirmed my convictions. The standard rooms are well furnished and comfortable, but the superior rooms are larger, more comfortable and rather luxurious. However, the highlight of the stay was when the owner, Jan, turned out one of the best 5-course meals that I have tasted in South Africa ever. Jan modestly say it is just a hobby, but I say it is a talent and a calling.

La Lechere is an attractive top residence 5 minutes from the Kruger Park. The accommodations are tastefully furnished and fully equipped. The property features 2 swimming pools with sun loungers. You can enjoy a delicious breakfast and a delicious dinner is served in the evening on request. An absolute must for making a beautiful safari trip!
