Panorama Hotel

Such a beautiful location and peaceful the complex is family run mainly by two brothers Nicos and Vasillis (apologies spelling) and it shows as the gardens and communal areas are spotless The pool area is maintained so well and has lovely bar area which also doubles up into the reception area It’s located at the far end of Petra but is a short (20min) walk to Petra The only negative is the track is not used by coaches due to the drop off the road If you don’t like steep access to the rooms then row 3-5 is not a good option although row 5 has stunning views over the bay We have booked next year to return in August and hopefully we can get row 3 which is just high enough for a sea view? The rooms are kept very clean my only gripe would be the shower could be better as a cubicle as opposed to a plastic curtain? But is not a deal breaker

I stayed at the Panorama hotel for 2 weeks end August / beginning September . It was a relaxing and chilled stay . The hotel is very clean and run to a high standard . I was made to feel welcome and had a happy stay . My room was pleasant . The view from the balcony was marvelous. All the staff were lovely. I hope to holiday there again .

Future guest should know this hotel is a hidden gem - if you're only willing to walk the 100 metres from the main road to get here. First thing you see is the pool with enough sunbeds - all guests are never here by the pool at the same time. The family owned hotel is really nice and comfortable; not new but perfectly renewed and fresh. Beds are comfortable, there are beautifully embroidered towels and sheets. What I loved was there's a cotton blanket instead of a woolen one, that was less warm. Breakfast was not boring; fruit and veggies every morning, brown bread and eggs, Greek biscuits, a pie or sponge cake everyday, different jams and of course Greek youghurt and honey!

We were absolutely excited! Very friendly and helpful staff, various food during the breakfast, great meals and coctails for lunch or dinner. Rooms are very nice, renewed and clean. The hotel is situated close to the sea. I recommend to rent a car. I highly appreciate the staff and we will definitely come back soon.

Holiday started badly when having paid for a sea view room, we were put in one without any sea view whatever. One of the brother owners did not show any concern and said we would have to wait 2 days to receive a sea view. Sheets only changed once in a week, and had to ask for clean towels. Breakfast was a case of queueing for everything. Only one hot water station, and 2 small toasters for sometimes up to 50 people. The bread was not fresh, and the slices about beer mat size. Found the 2 brothers aloof and not particularly helpful. The young girls and young boy who helped around breakfast, serving lunch, and behind the bar were all very friendly and helpful. It is a good sized pool with plenty of past their sell by date sun loungers, very tatty. Unfortunately someone pooed in the pool one afternoon. The solution was one of the brothers scooped out what he could see, the pool wasn’t closed, and nobody was informed about what happened. Totally irresponsible! The hotel is totally not for anyone with any mobility problems. Would we return or recommend this Hotel to anyone. Not if we wanted to stay friends with them.

This was our third visit to this hotel, we consider ourselves to be very experienced and world wide travelers. This hotel is perfect for families or couples, beautiful swimming pool with ample sun beds and and undercover sun beds. The breakfast is varied with a really good variety of items, again with lots of seating. The bar and kitchen are open nearly all day for really good and reasonable priced snacks. This year they have been putting special evening meals on the menu. The location of the hotel maybe slightly out of the village, but very easily accessible on foot ( ten minute stroll) the hotel rooms are nearly all elevated which give tremendous views of the surrounding areas including the sea and sunset. Rooms are clean tidy serviced every day, in very well maintained gardens, clients can hire safes and air conditioning for the rooms at a reasonable cost. Lastly this IS a family run hotel and nothing is too much trouble for the family. We cannot recommend how highly we rate this hotel, I’m pretty sure we will return in the future.
