2nd time i have visited only to be let down. I only take a mixed grill when I’m there and today of all days which is my birthday was again let down. Came in and the waitress made a comment regarding my child which I thought was rude and also asked us our drinks to which we ordered while looking at the menu. After we decided she came back and asked what we would like to order and when I asked for the large mixed grill she informed us that there was no grill things or any burgers. She then stated that she should have informed us this before we ordered our drinks and forgot as she has had a busy day. Didn’t look that busy to be honest since we were 5 of probably only 3 others in the building. Total let down and don’t think we will be back unless they have food in and also attitude changes towards kids! This was for a birthday dinner and we left disgusted without ordering anything.

They truly went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was the best day of our lives. The culinary team outdid themselves with an exquisite menu that catered to a variety of dietary preferences. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted as wonderful as it looked. Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they had ever tasted. The accommodation at the Britannia Waterside Hotel was indeed very comfortable. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, and offered stunning views of the waterside. Waking and having breakfast with the view of the river Ugie as a newly married couple was a delightful experience that added to the magic of our wedding. In conclusion, our experience at the Britannia Waterside Hotel was truly extraordinary. We owe a large part of our perfect wedding day to James Forbes and the fantastic staff. We highly recommend the Britannia Waterside Hotel to anyone planning their wedding. It's not just a venue, but a place where dreams are brought to life.
