Fantastic meal for Mothers Day, great service and great value. Restaurant was fully booked, always a good sign. The staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for you. Will be back! …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

My husband & I visited the St.Olaf tonight. We hadn't booked, but they found us a table. We had a superb meal.....we both thoroughly enjoyed it. 10/10 Nice ambience in the restaurant & the staff were really lovely too. A very enjoyable evening - thank you.

We received a friendly welcome by the owner and shown our room. We were given room number 3 that looks out over the golf course and sea. Just lovely! Although a little outdated is the room ( I believe being modernised) it was very clean, comfy beds and well stocked tea tray complete with tunnocks tea cake and caramel wafer! A walk to Slains castle and back built up an appetite and thirst. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel both were really delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend a stay here, the owner and staff couldn’t do enough!

We stayed a night on a road trip of the North East. I lived in this house as a child in the 60's when upstairs was an apartment as we were waiting for a house to be built. Lovely warm welcome from the owner. Great staff. Excellent food ...lunch, dinner and breakfast. Fascinating for me to stay here. Very comfortable bed, great bed linen and large fluffy towels. Spotlessly clean. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you for the trip down memory lane. Wishing you every success in the future.

Excellent clean rooms , staff friendly and helpful Lovely views across the course and excellent hospitality from the owner and all the staff Breakfast was very good , with some new choices Will be back later this year and hope to come back for many more years Thankyou

What a welcoming nice place. Great view over Cruden Bay. A short walk down to the Cruden Bay golf course as well as the beach. The pub in the house was a bonus. Watched a bit of sports and had a pint. The landlady was super welcoming. Everything you needed. All in all great place to stay.

Absolutely outstanding for food. My husband and I were in the area whilst on holiday exploring. We were lucky enough to stumble on this place on our way back to the cottage. We sat in the garden with our two dogs and it was lovely. Food was incredibly good, best we had all holiday, in fact it was so good we drove an hour and a half out of our way the day after to eat here again. The weather was not great on our second visit and the staff helped us out by finding us a quiet area inside where the dogs could relax. We will be visiting here again soon.

Friends and I spent a fabulous couple of evenings here. What a great location with beautiful views of the Cruden Bay Golf Club and the stunning beach beyond. Ideal location if you’re a golfer. Such a friendly and welcoming hotel. The food was fabulous and the menu is very full and varied. Highly recommended.

Just had an absolutely fantastic meal at the St Olaf golf hotel,Debbie and Kevin fantastic hosts staff very accommodating to all needs,and as a food critic we could not fault either the food or the Service 100% brilliant.I would highly Recommend and shall ensure that we put you on to the irish tourist board site,thank you for a wonderful evening with great food 10/10.If your looking for great food and good golf in the North East this is a great base with 5 rooms to stay in.
