Premier Inn Peterborough North

We used this Premier Inn for a one night stay as we were attending a party nearby. Overall I would say the hotel itself is about what you would expect for a Premier Inn and offered pretty good value for money. The rooms and general decor are looking a little tired but everything was clean and the bed was comfy. One slightly odd thing was the length of time the toilet took to refill after flushing which was a little inconvenient if you wanted to use the loo one after another! The breakfast area could have done with being tended to a little better, there were various bits of rubbish lying about and I am not convinced of the need to have an open bin right next to the table where the bread/toaster is kept! The staff were very friendly and welcoming and I would like to give a particular mention to the little basket of cookies/biscuits which are left on the reception desk in the evening, these were just the ticket to go with my bedtime cup of tea when we returned from our evening out, very thoughtful indeed!

We've tried other places to spend to night whilst regularly visiting family in the area. Peterborough North Premier Inn suits our purpose perfectly. The stay is comfortable and we always get a good nights sleep and the staff are friendly and eager to assist.

The room was grubby with cobwebs everywhere. The meal in the restaurant when it did eventually arrive after a 50 minute wait was below average. We travel for business often and have stayed in many premier inn hotels in the past but this has been the worst so far.

Lovely big room, very clean, quiet. Very warm welcome from Beverly and the reception team. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast fresh and hot (tomatoes could have been cooked longer) nice selection of pastries. Plenty of extra tea coffee and milk in reception if needed. Very friendly and helpful bar staff when we popped in for a nightcap!

I previously stayed in this hotel. It as a pub next door which last time I stayed was terrible this is were you eat if staying at the hotel as there is no restaurant within the actual hotel. The hotel is everything you expect from a premier inn and the reception colleague was very helpful. The hotel has now taken over the pub and the service and food has vastly improved. It has a full range menu so sometime for everyone.

Stayed here to visit family in Peterborough the location works for me and the staff are lovely. The rooms are basic and need updating but always clean. Only negative is breakfast can be either very good or very disappointing depending on the day.
