From the moment we arrived to when we left we couldn't fault our stay at The Kingswood. Every area was clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable. Our room felt very spacious and luxurious with a fabulous bathroom/wet room with walk in shower. It felt a lovely place to come back to after a days walking along the Pentewan Trail and visiting nearby Mevagissey - very relaxing and comfortable. We had breakfasts and dinner which ticked all the boxes. Lots of choice, quality ingredients and perfectly cooked and presented by chefs who clearly know their stuff! Staff were pleasant and friendly with just the right amount of interaction and we look forward to returning in the future.

Just returned from this hotel. Bed/ breakfast/evening meal. Modern, spotless. Food cooked to order and excellent. Wide choices on menu, so something for everyone.( At breakfast and evening meal) Lovely staff. Just go and experience. You will not be disappointed.

Marvellous find. Amazing hotel, by far the nicest hotel we have stayed in the UK. Beautiful room impeccable decor. Lovely friendly staff. Amazing breakfast freshly prepared to order. Good quality ingredients.

Spacious, clean room, everything you need (no bath, which would be nice, but still was fab), nice tea, lovely shower gels/shampoo and conditioner. Would recommend this place. Didnt eat, but have eaten here before and it was good.

What a fantastic place, we loved every minute, from the friendly staff, the comfy rooms and the fabulous food, there was nothing to improve here. Food certainly punches well above its weight, you can tell a lot of love and care goes into every plate. It’s also great value at this time of year which was greatly appreciated, probably too cheap for the overall package! Don’t hesitate to book you certainly will not be disappointed.

Kingswood has been my favourite restaurant forever and it’s been amazing to see the place evolve over the years. My partner surprised me with a stay over in one of their new rooms for my birthday. We booked dinner in the restaurant which was amazing as always and the room was incredible. Very spacious with a massive comfy bed. Lovely bathroom with large fluffy towels and lots of small touches which made the stay very comfortable. Beautiful decor and style in the room which mirrors the style of the restaurant. Breakfast was amazing as expected. We only live up the road but will definitely be back to stay again :)

We only stayed overnight as our holiday rental started on a Monday. Would have happily stayed all week to use as a base. Very helpful charming staff. Huge modern contemporary room with fab bathroom. Large bath sheets. Local bath toiletries. Bar was stylish, lounge comfortable in a modern country house style. Excellent choice of music playing. We had a light dinner which was all delicious, excellent, maybe the best sticky toffee pudding I’ve tasted. Unusual cocktails, you had me at burnt pineapple tequila. Staff are a huge asset. Would not hesitate to recommend and stay again.

From the moment we stepped into Kingswood, we knew we were going to enjoy our one night’s stay. The welcome was warm and friendly, and it was obvious through discussion that management is really proud of recent renovations and inclusion of accommodation at the property. We were shown to our room, which was incredibly luxurious, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The room’s facilities were clearly explained to us and we were left to settle in. Following a quiet, good night’s sleep in an incredibly comfortable bed, we enjoyed a first class breakfast and headed for home. A gem of a hotel and restaurant. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We stayed with our children in one of the family rooms in a pull out bed in one room and an interconnecting room for ourselves. Very clean, new, comfortable bed, fresh linen bed sheets. Great little boutique hotel we will definitely return..
