About this spaceIf you think you've seen it all, look again. Located in the heart of Rocky Point, NC, 25 minutes outside the bustling city of Wilmington, comes a unique experience like never before. Welcome to Triple F Farm, where luxury living and farm life meet. These three grain bins have been transformed into a modern master piece. From the meticulous ceilings, custom round kitchen, whiskey room & a sleeping suite that is unmatched. Texas Longhorns are on the farm for you to enjoy a part of America history.The spaceUpon entering the property, you will come through a private security gate. The road will take you to the farm. As the woods give way to open space, that feeling of freedom takes over. There is a barn on the property that houses farm equipment and feed. The Longhorn cattle are fed protein cubes (3) times a week. So you might see a farmer across the pasture of your suite feeding the boys! If you would like to feed them, all you need to do is ask, and we would love to have you interact with them with our supervision. As you pass by the barn on your left, the grain bins start to really catch your eye! These bins were originally installed in the mid to late 1960s. We have meticulously repurposed them to something you could never imagine on the inside. Just before you get to the bins look in front of you and you will see your own private white sand beach. Wood burning fire pit, and lounge chairs for your enjoyment. A small pier goes out over the water. When the pond is high you can sit on the end of the dock and drop those tired feet in the water. Once past the beach, you will arrive at the bins. Your space is right in front of the center bin. Any guest can park down in the other spaces. Once you walk into the center bin, we hope at that point, the craftsmanship and imagination will take over. All three bins are for your relaxation. This includes about 1880 sq ft. The pass through kitchen is stocked with a Bartesian, coffee, tea, eggs and pancakes for you. Wifi is available but cell phone service is very limited especially inside the home. There is a grocery store (Food Lion) approx. 2 miles down the road. The town of Burgaw is located just 9 miles north. Historic downtown Wilmington is just 16 miles and Wrightsville Beach & Topsail Beach are only 21 miles. There are tons of local restaurants for you to enjoy in Wilmington but if you do not want to leave the farm we can always accommodate you, for a separate fee, with fresh local shrimp, fish or beef & vegetables. We will just need some communication from you so we can be sure to have the fridge stocked before you arrive. Guest accessYou will be able to access all three bins. The only place we ask not, is what we call the "owners" closet. It just has some tools and supplies. Other than that, its all yours!!!!!!Other things to noteRemember we have Texas Longhorns on the property. They are majestic and a part of American history. The six of them are all registered Texas Longhorns. Fat Albert, Hercules, Frosty, Rosie, Percy & Doc Holiday! Please call us if you would like to interact with them. If I did not mention this earlier, we do have a strict no pets policy as well. Parking
- Reserved, covered parking directly under unit, so you never have to walk far and your car stays cool in the shade of the carport.
- Non-covered parking is unassigned and available for all guests with pass displayed.
- Two parking passes are located in the unit. Your vehicles must display a pass at all times (even in the reserved spot) so please hang one in your car as soon as you check-in.
- Only passenger vehicles are allowed on the property. No boats, trailers etc.
Rules:
A full list of House and HOA Rules are posted in the unit. It is your responsibility to review these upon arrival. Below is a summary of the main rules:
- No pets (only owners can have pets per HOA rules)
- No smoking
- Minimum $200 fee if housekeeping finds any signs of pets or smoking.
- NO PARTIES
- No unapproved guests
- Max 4 sleeping occupants; Max 6 people total, including guests and their visitors at any one time.
- No booking on behalf of someone else. The booker must be the primary occupant for the duration of the stay.
- Do not hang anything over the railing on the balcony. There is a clothesline on the balcony for you to use.
- Do not jump off of balcony onto the beach. Only use stairs designated for beach access.
- KEEP OFF DUNES. The dunes in front of the building on the beach are protected and vital to erosion control. The Town of Surf City will issue a fine of $500 for anyone walking on or interacting with the dunes in anyway.
- Please review the cancellation policy before making reservation.
- Coastal weather is unpredictable and can change quickly. Parking
- Reserved, covered parking directly under unit, so you never have to walk far and your car stays cool in the shade of the carport.
- Non-covered parking is unassigned and available for all guests with pass displayed.
- Two parking passes are located in the unit. Your vehicles must display a pass at all times (even in the reserved spot) so please hang one in your car as soon as you check-in.
- Only passenger vehicles are allowed on the property. No boats, trailers etc.
Rules:
A full list of House and HOA Rules are posted in the unit. It is your responsibility to review these upon arrival. Below is a summary of the main rules:
- No pets (only owners can have pets per HOA rules)
- No smoking
- Minimum $200 fee if housekeeping finds any signs of pets or smoking.

- KEEP OFF DUNES. The dunes in front of the building on the beach are protected and vital to erosion control. The Town of Surf City will issue a fine of $500 for anyone walking on or interacting with the dunes in anyway.

Happiness Comes in Waves is your next favorite vacation spot. As you walk into this beautifully decorated and newly renovated condo you won't be disappointed by all of it's amenities. Immediately to your right is the the nicely lit King bedroom and it's connected half bath with closet. Continue down the hallway and you will find bunk beds quietly tucked away in the thoughtfully designed nook. Drawers can be found under for additional storage and curtains provide needed privacy. Right across the hall is the door to the spacious full bath which also connects directly to the master half bath.
Down the hall, you will be welcomed by an open concept living area with a fully stocked kitchen. Sit on the large private balcony and take it all in as you look out over the well maintained pool and courtyard and onto the ocean. Watch a sunrise or sunset or if you are lucky you may even get to see some dolphins playing in the waves.
Happiness Comes in Waves is located just over 1 mile north of Surf City town center. It's easy to walk or bike to several local restaurants, beach and gift shops, coffee bars, local wine bars, and even live entertainment. Surfing and wind surfing lessons are available near by for those feeling adventurous. If you are wanting to see the island from the water try renting a paddle board, jet ski, or boat. You can even book yourself a fishing guide. Whatever you want to do it is here! Be sure not to miss our local Turtle Hospital where you can see rescued sea turtles. You may even catch some hatching if you are extremely lucky, as nests are often found on the beach in front of Surf Condos.
