Very good hotel. This hotel is in Konakli, which is 20 minutes away from Alanya by bus. The bus is 1 Euro each way and you can pay in Lira (which is better for us in Turkey). On arrival the hotel rep will try and put you off using the bus as they want you to book trips with them. But don’t do it as it’s a lot cheaper to go off and do your own trips. To catch the bus to Alanya, just stand on the opposite side of the road to the hotel and put your thumb up and the bus will stop. They are every 20 mins or so. It’s really that simple. They do a few stops along the way so you can get if in Konakli town as well if you wish. The hotel food in the buffet restaurant is okay but it’s more catered for Europeans than the English. They always had chicken though so I had chicken and chips or chicken and rice. Always plenty of fruit and veg. The deserts are delicious too. During the day they served food at the pool bar (which I preferred). Chicken wraps, nice freshly made pizzas, burgers, chicken salads etc. you can have this at any time during the day. The lobby bar is 24 hours so always a drink and snack on offer The staff are very friendly. I got involved in water polo and played against a staff member. 2 teams of 3. That was fun. The spa is very good and very relaxing. It’s free to use and so is the gym. The treatments do cost though, which is always expected. WiFi is free in the lobby, but you can pay 70 lira per day to have access to WiFi everywhere in the hotel. 70 lira per day is worth paying as it’s nothing really. The hotel is very clean and modern. The staff and maids are always hard at work when it comes to keeping the hotel clean and tidy. I would recommend this hotel. It’s is a little out the way but as I said, it’s only 20 mins on the bus to Alanya and the bus is cheap so all in all, a good hotel in a good location.
