Station Inn Pawling

Cute, quaint, comfortable and clean. Cute little restaurants, shops, bank with an ATM, coffee shops and more all within walking distance. Beware....the TRAIN. I was wondering why there were ear plugs on the night stand.

Lovely place for a little getaway. Was there for just one night for work, but it was perfect. Room was amazing, bed was so comfortable and the robe was super cozy. Arrival was very easy.

Very nice room - really Bathroom ****** though…. Shower temp was tepid at BEST…….toilet was very pretty but used so little water you have to clean toilet yourself after…well,anything… I’m sure this place is considered very eco-friendly though…good for them

This was the perfect place to stay for a quick overnight trip. We were in town for a show at Daryl's House so we decided to stay here and not make the drive back to the city at night. It was a perfect location to everything. This isn't a typical check in as it is all done remotely but it was as easy as can be. We would definitely recommend staying here for a quick overnight trip. The train is right across the street so if you're a light sleeper it may not be the place for you. They do supply earphones for the front room which is where we stayed. If you have a preference for a room further from the train I suggest contacting the owners before booking. It was very clean! We were super impressed with the amenities in the room and 'lobby' area. Overall a great stay!

Only a 1-night stay, but it was everything we could have asked for. Room was lovely and comfy and the bed was, no exaggeration, one of the most comfortable I have ever ever slept in. Yes you can hear the trains pass (our room faced sideways to the tracks, so probably neither the most nor least noisy experience), but once asleep I don't think I heard a thing (at least that I remember). Would recommend Station Inn to anyone.

I’m sure the owners of the Station Inn mean well, and it’s the only option in Pawling, but consider it a motel, and then you won’t be disappointed. I stayed there over Christmas with several family members in other rooms. They had similar comments. The room was freezing, even with my wall heater (which buzzed all night) set to 86 degrees. Only lukewarm air came out, and the storm windows were ineffective. Perhaps the hotel is a better option in the summer. There is coffee, tea, and cookies in the shared hallways, but this means you wake up with the first person who partakes (particularly if there are two people chatting), as the walls, floors, and doors are paper-thin. And be sure to get there early while mugs are still available. The room was clean, except for marks on the carpet around the sink (old toothpaste?), which was located in the room rather than in the bathroom. My bed was fine, but others in our party had mattresses with noticeable indentations. And it IS a station inn. The tracks are just yards away, with trains passing through all night (the hotel provides earplugs). Thankfully, I brought a sleeping mask because the blinds do nothing to block out the morning light.
