Moustache Rishikesh Riverside Resort

The resort is really good. The breakfast was really tasty and the beds are comfortable. Views are breathtaking and facilities are good

I stayed at Moustache Riverside recently, and while the location is OK—right in the hills near a small stream (nothing like river as claimed)—the rest of the experience didn’t quite live up to that. The property wasn’t very well maintained. The rooms had pests, which was definitely a big downside. The pool looked good in pictures but was actually pretty dirty, and the staff didn’t seem to care much about enforcing pool or liquor rules. On top of that, they played some really loud haryanvi songs all around the resort, which killed the vibe. The staff weren’t very helpful or clear either, so that added to the frustration. The crowd was mostly couples out for a party and smoking and drinking on resort was common sight and which gave the whole place a kind of cheap, rowdy feel. That said, the natural surroundings are beautiful. Please note it is a small property. I’d rate it around 2.5 out of 5 and would definitely suggest checking out nearby places if you want a more relaxing getaway.

I booked Moustache Luxuria and Moustache Riverside in Rishikesh — expecting a peaceful stay. What I got was a complete nightmare. At the Luxuria dorms: Bathrooms were filthy Cigarette ashes floating in the swimming pool Overpriced food & water (₹50 for ₹20 bottle) When I questioned the pricing, the staff simply said, “I’m just an employee” At Riverside: Rooms smelled bad and no freshener was provided Dead insects floating in the swimming pool Constant knocking from hotel staff in the morning asking to check out – we were disturbed 4 times Worst of all — after we checked out, the hotel staff didn’t even inform me about a pending ₹1100 bill, and instead began messaging me and my wife’s relatives on social media, accusing us of “running away”! The staff member behind this was Akshat Rawat. This level of harassment is completely unacceptable. We were humiliated publicly over a small amount without a single call or message from the hotel. This ruined a trip that was supposed to be special — especially since it was my wife’s birthday. This was not just bad service — it was disgraceful and invasive. I strongly warn all travelers to avoid any property under the Moustache brand.

Unmatchless vibe with a tasty food by our chef shiv shakti. The resort is located at a peaceful place with river by it's side. I would prefer your stays at the moustache by river side to enjoy your weekend, ambience is at its top with a pool over riverside

The Hotel is in a nice location but need maintenance and most importantly STAFF. There are hardly 3 young guys who are running here and there and are struggling to cater to the needs of the guests. I wonder what would they do and how would they manage when the property is sold out as they could barely manage when only 3-4 rooms were occupied. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO HOT WATER IN MY ROOM AND NOBODY EVEN BOTHERED TO CHECK EVEN AFTER MY REPEATED REQUESTS. It was my husbands bday and I had planned surprise décor and cake for him for our midnight celebration. I was in touch with Mr. Rawat from Delhi itself and had finalized everything with him over phone 2-3 times. I had reminded him personally on 26th night that i want cake / decorated table and everything we agreed by 11.50 am and notify me so we can come out in the garden to celebrate. To my surprise, nobody had come till 12.10 am. I tried calling Mr. Rawat.. kept calling 6-7 times and nobody answered the phone. I had to walk to the reception at MIDNIGHT to check. Nobody was at reception. Had gone to their kitchen NOBODY was there... had gone to reception again and then walked again to Kitchen. finally found someone and I asked him to check with Rawat. The guy came back with a cake at 12.40 am finally.... NO DECOR, NO TABLE set up.. nothing..... Totally spoiled everything and they even charged for me the cake even after doing this blunder. the only best part of this resort is location... rest expect nothing from this place.... food was good, not much options to eat during bfast,,, even a simple chai tasted pathetic... I wanted to share my feedback so called Central reservations team who was also least bothered about getting feedback.... just said talk to resort directly... REALLY!!

It was best, everything rooms , service,food 100 % Recommended.location and property is well maintained staff is very polite and well dressed up. I had a fantastic Stay over there.vijay was a person who helped us in everything..hope we will visit again.
