ABOUT THE SPACE Don't miss out on spending your vacation at this cute as can be cabin on Lake Wallenpaupack. Our cozy cottage sleeps 8 people and can accommodate up to 4 cars and a boat trailer in our large driveway. THE SPACE From the moment you step through the door, relaxation begins with cozy furniture and charming cabin décor. On the first floor, you’ll find two bedrooms—one with a queen bed and the other with a double bed. Upstairs, the loft area features two twin beds, and there’s an additional lakeside-facing bedroom with a queen bed. The second floor also houses a convenient washer and dryer. The main floor boasts a newly renovated bathroom located between the two bedrooms, and an additional brand-new bathroom with a soaking tub overlooking the lake and a separate shower. The modern kitchen, tucked behind the dining room, offers ample countertop space, perfect for preparing meals. The large dining table comfortably seats eight, making it ideal for game nights or group dinners. Outside, the screened porch easily accommodates eight people and keeps pesky bugs at bay in early spring. Just off the porch, the spacious deck features a propane Weber BBQ and additional seating to take in the stunning lake views. By the lakeside, there’s a firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, perfect for roasting marshmallows and sharing “fish tales.” New for 2025 is a large "U"-shaped dock, ready to host your boat or a rental. Although the owner’s boat is moored there, there’s plenty of space on either side for your boats or jet skis. You’ll also have access to two stand-up paddleboards and two kayaks for exploring the water. Additionally, a newly improved pathway to the lake, complete with a mid-way seating area and a lakeside patio, ensures an easier and more enjoyable stroll to the water GUEST ACCESS Access to the property is contactless by lock box. Our Digital Welcome Guide is a complete guide to your arrival, stay and departure for your rental home. The Welcome Guide is sent when the required forms and information is received. Guests have access to the whole house. Locked closets/areas are as follows: OTHER THINGS TO NOTE - BOOKING REQUIREMENTS 75% of guests need to be 30 or older with an exception for children traveling with their parents. The remaining 25%, will need to be 25 and over. This home is for families and respectful guests, it is not a party property. All bookings are required to sign a short-term lease after the booking has been accepted to satisfy community requirements. WHO WE ARE This property is managed by a local real estate agent. Property Owners rely on our team to book and manage their home for you and to make sure your rental needs are met. To make sure each property is well maintained, each reservation will require a rental agreement to be signed. The Rental Agreement is posted on this site and is available for review at check out. In addition to the Rental Agreement posted on VRBO, you will receive a Reservation Form that is required to be completed within 48 hours of receipt. Our communities are also governed by township Rental Ordinances which impose certain rules and regulations for owners. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Our rental management includes 24-hour emergency response for any issues that arise. Parking is available for up to 4 cars plus boat trailer Day Guests are limited to 4 extra people over the 8 overnight guests allotted for the rental. LAKE INFO Swimming and/or Floating is encouraged. Lake levels are high enough during the season for swimming and boating. Rocky Shoreline access – lake level fluctuates depending on the season. Spring – Lake levels will be high. The docks do not start getting installed until late April. We do not GUARANTEE any dock in the water before Memorial Day. Summer – High Water Mark is June 1st. Depending on the weather, the lake levels may come up higher than that making the docks hard to access as their walkways will be underwater. We do our best to make sure they are accessible, but we cannot always get to them on demand. Fall – Water levels will be lowest, and docks will start to be removed from the lake until the spring. Boats can still be docked, water levels at the end of the docks are still acceptable for boat docking. Winter – Lake usually freezes, and ice fishing is popular. Any access to the frozen lake is “at your own risk”. HOUSE RULES No Smoking inside – smoking outside only. Must not leave any butts and ashes behind NO FIREWORKS or discharging of any firearm is not permitted. Includes BB, air, pellet, paint guns. Quiet time 11pm – 8am – this is a family-oriented neighborhood, no late-night parties allowed. Voices carry at night when it’s quiet. If you are out late at the firepit or on the deck, please keep noise to a minimum. Great Lake Getaway! Great lake getaway. House was clean and recently redone. Kitchen and Bathrooms very nice. Very comfortable. Dock could use some attention.

Lake stay We enjoyed the house and the veiws, the house was great and the decorations were unique. Everything was just as listed. The owner had his boat in the slip so we expected more dock space but made it work. Waves will get quite rough on a busy day. The stairs were unevenly spaced which made it a little scary to get to the water but we never had an issue. The grill was amazing to have and worked great. Very nice to have our own little spot and plenty of parking. Would stay again.

Great Family Trip The house was exactly what we expected and needed. We were a family of 6. There was ample space. The house was clean with all the necessary supplies. The steps down to the lake provided a good work out, not a problem if you plan you trip down to dock with a bag of supplies to limit trips up and down. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and paddle boards. Thanks for a great rental !

Great weekend on Lake Wallenpaupack We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. There was plenty of space for two families including adults and young kids. The house was clean, cozy, and stocked with everything we might need. There's a great view of the lake from the back deck and screened in patio. Having access to the lake and dock was great for swimming and boating and we appreciated being able to use the kayaks and paddle boards available on the property. The property manager was very quick to respond to any questions and was incredibly helpful. We would love to stay again!

Can’t wait to go back!!! Our stay at Glen Road Cottage was absolutely unforgettable! The view was nothing short of spectacular, offering a peaceful and serene backdrop for our getaway. My family and friends had an incredible time creating amazing memories together. One of the highlights of our trip was the fun we had getting our endurance up by going up and down the stairs to the lake. We even turned it into a friendly competition, adding an extra layer of excitement to our stay. The description of Glen Road Cottage was spot-on, and the reality exceeded our expectations. Glen Road Cottage owes us nothing; we had an amazing time and are already looking forward to our next stay!

Paupack Glen getaway The interior of this house had everything our family needed. The grounds could use some work - unassembled log racks, crushed garbage can, old pier sitting in pieces in front yard. A little effort to clean up would go a long way. Many stairs to the lake shouldn’t be discounted. It was a haul. Not for faint of heart!

Would not recommend Steps to front door and especially down to lake are not for the faint of heart. Not well lit so didn't go down to fire pit. This is a property manager not a homeowner so fees charged were outrageous. Also building house next door so construction noises at 8 am daily. Should have accounted for this inconvenience in price. We have stayed at other houses in community but would not recommend this one. False advertising for sure.
