The location and amenities were great! But, the down fall that I had to give 2 stars to service, simply because when I went to observe the room before booking in advance, I had spoken with the receptionist and asked her whether the room has any requests and/reservation during 6 days and 5 nights that I will be going to stay (to avoid any confusion when check-in) the receptionist stated that the room is still available and okay to reserved, (as I booked immediately after reviewing the room) and requested the room that I went and checked, 8th floor (as you can see from the booking notes*) after booked and reserved, I, before leaving the hotel reception, I’d showed the receptionist the booking confirmation and requested the room noted*, the lady acknowledged it. Thus, I left the hotel and come back for the check-in later the week. When check-in, the receptionist reluctantly told us the room we were requested and reserved has already been taken by other customers. I was concerned and confused, as the room has already booked and requested number of days prior. The receptionist mentioned that “unfortunately, the lady didn’t told me that the room were requested nor was there any notes for her” Not only that but mentioned that “I came to check-in later than the other customers” I was absolutely shocked to hear as such. However, I was already extremely tired from travelling and couldn’t bother to discuss anymore with the receptionist. Anyways, the lady then give the room that’s right next to the requested room, the room was okay *broken bedroom light* *bed room ceiling light were out*.
