Hotel the Grand Piano - Best Business Hotel in Patan

The staff is very humble and friendly. We loved the hospitality of the people. The food was also very good and tasty. Breakfast did not have much options but was good. The rooms were clean. Location is near Rani ki vav. Overall a plesant experience inspite of scorching heat.

The experience started out well; however, it went downhill really fast. Check in was smooth. They took the luggage to the rooms and things seemed fine. We had breakfast the next day and it was tasty. The second or third day, we were told as we were leaving the front door that we have to change rooms. We were on our way to grah shanti and had to go back up to pack our things. My cousin, sister and I had all of our wedding clothes and accessories spread around the room. We had to rush and pack our things while we are dressed in our heavy clothes. They attempted to give us a honeymoon suite with a double bed and a floor mattress. This room was smaller than previous room. They were aware that we would be staying at the hotel for a week and we should not have been forced to change rooms. The next day, we left in the morning and then were informed via telephone while we were at another wedding function that we have to pack again. We left middle of our brothers function to pack our things again. This was not acceptable. Again they were aware that we would be staying there. My family decided not to continue staying at this hotel because they preferred to make us move even though we booked almost the entire floor (10-12) instead of moving the new guest that hadn’t arrived yet.

Excellent service, clean room, very nice staff. We were looking for a last minute stay and this was very good. They were very accommodating and catered to every need. Can recommend this place for a quick stopover. Food was nice and location is good.

It was a pleasant stay. Excellent room, with great food. Different varieties of food available. Courteous staff and very good customer service. They were kind enough to add requested channels on the television too. Highly recommended to stay here in case you're looking for accommodation in Patan.

This is a business hotel that goes the extra mile. It's owned and run by a father/son team and they have designed everything, to the smallest detail, to make sure you are well provided for. And should you need help, they are right there with solutions. Kind, caring and enthusiastic, they turned the average business hotel into a super clean and interesting destination, with everything the business traveller needs, the sightseer and the event, function or party-goer. Rooms are based on need, from the efficient business room to the spacious family room for function attendees. Food was great, a huge menu and everything we tried was well prepared and tasty. It was just a delight to stay there and to experience the difference when the owners actually care how you are and do everything they can to make you comfortable. Well done!

Our expectations were modest when we booked a hotel in Patan, Gujarat, so imagine our pleased surprise to be greeted in fluent English by Brij, the owner of Hotel Grand Piana, and shown around his excellent property. It was modern and every corner was spotlessly clean. We were impressed by the well trained staff, a very good restauarant where we safely ordered salad, and every attention to our comfort. The next day he helped us arrange our onward transport and was in all ways helpful and cooperative. Highly recommended for tourists wishing to spend night when visiting the Step Well.
