Town & Country Motel

Well what a dynamic way of green wenterung the rooms so u adhere to patrons and travellers don’t enter this motel coz there are snakes crawling in the rooms spiders everywhere the barroom is disgusting causing a massive disaster that us gappenjng

The hotel is very dated with questionable cleanliness. The paint cans in front of each room for cigarette butts were unsightly. The bedspreads given were well past their best before date. The towels that were given were thin to the point of being see through. For what we received the hotel was overpriced

Stopped over on our way to Manitoulin Island.The rooms were spotlessly clean though small. Hotel staff very friend breakfast next morning was good, toast, fruit,orange juice and coffee, all help yourself. Bathroom was small also but what do you nerd for a 1 night stay.

Neat and tidy. All units are ground floor, very friendly owners. Location was on a main hiway but still quiet. Pet friendly location made it easier for us to plan our time away. Suited our needs....plain, simple without all the fluff.

Booked online, called to cancel and the owner said we had no reservation. @ days later, we were charged. Dishonest owner. Cancelled the booking, yet still charged. Avoid. Absolutely no accountability.

Room was certainly not what we were expecting. Older Motel that certainly needs updating. Ceiling fan Old and Noisy- A/C was also noisy. No ice maker or bottle dispenser as mentioned (broken) Continental breakfast was not available until 8am- prepackaged with Juice boxes,muffins, 1 granola bar and 2 cookies . Hosts were friendly, parking at your door.

I just stayed with my wife for one night. It was acceptable, though perhaps a bit more expensive than it should be for what you get. The staff at check in was friendly. However, upon checking out, we were not even asked how our stay was. That seems pretty standard. So, this is how it was: - beds were sufficiently comfortable, though the pillows were not great. - bed sheets were ill fitted (we had a king, and they appear to have topped it with a queen sheet - also, the only blanket/comforter was the 'decorative' one that likely gets shared by all. - the room was clean, and the layout acceptable. Mini fridge and microwave are nice to have (may be needed; see below re: breakfast). - bathroom is fine, and shower was ok. Some issues with regulating temperature perhaps due to other users at motel resulting in freezing and scorching bursts of water while showering. - tv worked fine. wifi worked fine. - generally a pretty quiet place, which is good. For the not so great: - curtains not the best at keeping out light. - glasses would be good, as opposed to plastic cups. - again, the sheets... - AC was not good at all. It worked, but sounded like a large engine going, and so could not be used (too disruptive). - ceiling fan could have saved the day, but had only setting - high! So, the room temperature was not great and made for uncomfortable sleep. - booking includes breakfast, but I strongly suggest you ignore this ad - our 'breakfast' included two store bought muffins, a granola bar and two juice boxes. No coffee even, other than the room coffee. That is not breakfast to me. Would we stay again? Likely not. There are other options.

The motel is pretty overrated for its price. Despite the fact that it needs an update, the rooms are fairly clean. Advertises the continental breakfast, but in reality the breakfast is just a muffin, a juice and some crackers. You really have to ask for breakfast, and, if nobody is at front desk don’t be shy to knock on the back door 😉. Overall not bad , but the rate is way to high for services.

My husband and I spent one night here. We were in a room with one bed. The room was spotless. You can see the work that has been put into this motel by the couple that own it. We were happy with our stay and would definitely stay again if in the area.
