Park Sands Beach Resort

Staff was very accommodating. Felt safe and loved the beach. It was the off season so not busy. Site had great views and the wifi worked well. Would love to visit in the warm weather but will definitely go back again . Easy to walk to town and local hotels for happy hour

Great clean Cabins, comfortable beds and linens. Steps away from the most amazing board walk and Beach. Large park next door for kids. Close to so many restaurants and attractions. Easy check in and out. Outdoor eating area thar was a bonus .

This isNOT a quiet family campsite as advertised. Wewent for a 3 night Canada Day vacation with ourfamily only to go through Hell! The people around us partied long and hard through midnight with no respect to fellow campers. They walked through our site like we were invisible. We tried to get ahold of management but the office is always closed. When we finally talked to someone after leaving so many messages, they did nothing, there is no security or any one to help, we now know we should have called the police. It was honestly mayhem! We had to leave a day early , we could not go through another night like that. Our Canada day weekend was ruined, and they do Not give refunds! We have been going to this campsite for years, its gone completely down hill, everyone is on their own here, we will Not be back!!

The two stars are strictly for the location, which is right on the beach and in the middle of town. If you choose to stay here, keep your guard up, doors locked at all times, and have low expectations. They have all the “rules” spelled out clearly, but there is ZERO enforcement of them (they will outright refuse to do anything), even if you actually manage to get an answer on the phone to speak to someone. There is NEVER anyone actually in the office. There is no security whatsoever here; people walking by on the boardwalk can (and regularly do) hop over the fence, and anyone can drive down at any time. We were sitting in our RV one afternoon when a woman just opened the door and walked into our trailer, looking for god knows whom. In the two weeks we’ve been here, the garbage/recycling has never been taken off-site; it was overflowing when we arrived and has only piled up from there. Next year we’ll have to try out the new park next door.

The cabin #2 was great for the visiting family with 2 young children. Very clean and cosy, provided more space expected. Perfect location next to the beach and the amazing playground in the adjacent community park. We had our campervan parked next to the cabin. There were only a few motorhomes, so we felt very private, in warm weather surely much more busy. I noticed the signs asking to respect the rules for quiet times. I liked that there are a few trees on the grounds, the other RV places seem to have no trees at all. We had a very pleasant stay.

We stayed in Beach House 2 which was amazing. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the inside was beautiful. Very clean. Very spacious. Super comfy beds! Was interesting to try and figure out how to get in. Tried to figure it out for 20 min before we called the office and asked for instructions. The map didn’t help. Great location being right on the beach.
