Location is very strategic. Nearby the waterfront. However, elevator was out of service. Those who stayed at higher floor, have to use stairs. Throughout my stay for 5 days 4 nights, the elevator was out of service. The response to repair seems like very slow.

Things to improve

they were renovating during our stay so some ammenities weren’t exactly where they are but overall it was a value for money stay. they upgraded us to the executive suite which was a really big room. some parts of the room like the paint is abit worn down if you really stare at it. the water pressure was really bad but despite that the room was clean and service was good.
in room meal was not the best in terms of taste, didnt get breakfast tho. hopefully once the renovations are done it will look much betterb

Thank you for the special complimentary and excellent service. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. This have given my 16th wedding anniversary with my husband so wonderful and memorable. Breakfast at the Chinese Resto ( Gu Jin) was awesome! Love the siew mai and dumplings. Definitely will go again! Kudos Sheraton Kuching.

A great stay in waterfront, old hotel, but the furniture and cleanliness still acceptable. Great for business traveller. But suggest hotel to make a specific smoking area outside the hotel, so the smokers not standing right infront of entrance smoking and disturbing the incoming guest, the smokes are ”welcoming” the guest giving unplesant experience. Very convenient access to shopping mall, but the shopping mall are old, not much star shop and eatable food, no much chinese food, nearby chinatown also not vibrant. All shops are closed. The good thing about this hotel is the direct access to shopping mall and basement parking, free parking for guest in and out without paying, ideal for car rental guest, no need to worry about raining. Loccitane shower and shampoo really good and add points.

Stayed at a hotel just opposite the famous Cat Statue in Kuching, and overall, it was a decent experience. The location is definitely the highlight – everything is within walking distance, and there’s even a sampan service right behind the hotel, which made it really convenient to explore the area.
The room itself was okay. The aircond worked well – maybe a bit too well since it was freezing cold at times. The bed was on the harder side, not exactly my preference. The bathroom looked a bit dated, with a bathtub included, but honestly, I would’ve preferred a separate shower and tub. However, one thing that could be improved is the bathrobe – it was way too thin.
Breakfast was okay, especially since they served local favorites like Sarawak Laksa and Kolo Mee.
In short, great location, decent breakfast, but the room comfort could be better. Perfect for a short stay if you want easy access to tourist spots.

The hotel was in a convenient location near to shopping mall. The rooms were clean and bright. The breakfast was delicious but I bit disappointed when I booking the room for 3, but just get breakfast for 2. Anyway it good experience to stay.

FFazlie BinTo best describe this place, it's like a mini paradise atop a cliff overlooking the beautiful sea, with a twist of staying in large cylindrical concert culverts.
You can easily spot it along the road to Damai with its large circular logo at its gate. It was closed upon my arrival at 3pm, but due to the main entrance being easily seen from the receptionist area, it didn't take long for them to open the gate, and I just drove right in.
The receptionist was very polite and welcoming, decently professional as well, after checking us in we were given a quick tour around, highlighting the facilities and public areas.
The room itself, being quite quirky in its own way, isn't too difficult to maneuver around, as long as you don't rush yourself and knock yourself around the relatively tiny room. Adequate steps are built to help climbing up and moving around, with simple storage spots around the bed, which by itself takes up about half of the room. The other side of the room is the bathing area, which I would say is surprisingly spacious enough to use. So a bed and a bathing area sums up the entire, unique cylindrical room.
The hotel itself is nicely planned, guests can pamper themselves by picking their favorite spots located around the place, and enjoy a marvelous view of the sea. There's also a small private beach all the way down the cliff too. Facilities include swimming pools, sauna room, washer + dryer machines, gymnasium, library, etc. are pretty neat if you need them.
I would say the place is great for couples, and a short refresher trip. I technically live in the city just half an hour drive away, but to catch a break from work and relax here for a day, I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat. Just make sure you've got the legs to climb up and down the place!

HHenry TyeThe Theater Hotel Kuching was a pretty solid choice for my business trip. I loved the keyless entry – no fumbling for cards at the door after a long flight! Check-in was a breeze, and the room itself was modern, clean, and comfortable, with everything I needed to get work done and recharge.
The only downside? There was a big event happening in their hall one night, and the music definitely carried. If you're a light sleeper, maybe request a room further away. But overall, a good option for a quick business trip, especially if you value convenience and a modern vibe.

The master bedroom has a clean bath-tub. Toilets are clean; they don't smell like Merdeka Palace; that's the most important thing. But we were very disappointed with the breakfast: lack of variety, not enough seats; we have to wait for our turn to eat. Also not a proper place to eat. I would come again but will not take the breakfast package.

EERICKSONS NAWONDI recently stayed at the hotel, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with friendly front desk personnel who were happy to answer all my questions.
The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and d linens, which made for a fantastic night's sleep. The amenities provided, including the in-room coffee maker and complimentary toiletries, added a luxurious touch.
The hotel's location was perfect—conveniently close to local attractions and restaurants, yet quiet enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. I also enjoyed the on-site facilities, such as the gym and pool, which were well-maintained and inviting.
One highlight of my stay was the exceptional dining experience at the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options on the menu, and the staff provided excellent service.

We were given a room facing the back yard of the building even though we booked a room facing the pool. I did ask for change but was told all rooms were already occupied, even though we were amongst the earliest to check in and many others came later after us but given room facing the pool.
