«Staff were very helpful and competent. I did the booking in my name, but my wife arrived earlier and they were understanding to check her in first. Amenities are standard level for a 3star hotel with free descent coffee in foyer I believe think it makes them a light 4star. The room we booked was big enough to fit 3 people and beds were quite comfortable.
The view from our 10 floor was great although the window is small. We had the Ikuta shrine view in full, Fontostico!»

Tteo aipingWonderful service provided by this hotel, onsen experience was superb as there was a private outdoor onsen on your own! Flawless clean room and all are staffs were extremely friendly, many of them can speaks English so you don’t have to worry about the communication! It is walkable the Main Street of Arima main steet!

IIkanukiIt was absolutely awesome.
We really needed this kind of rest after two busy weeks in Japan. We were so happy to relax body and soul. The room was luxurious and spacious; we chose a traditional one. This was our first hot spring experience, so it's hard to compare, but we loved it. All the hot spring rooms are strictly private, which is why we chose this ryokan. We have very large tattoos, and there are no problems with that. The kaiseki dinner is a real ritual and a show that lasts two hours of clear pleasure, everything was incredibly delicious, beautiful, and nutritious. Breakfast was also excellent. I recommend arriving in Arima village in the morning, rather than staying in Kobe or Osaka, to have time to explore it. It's small but charming, with that perfect anime vibe.

TTrip LOVERssThe room was spacious and comfortable, providing a serene atmosphere for relaxation. The onsen facilities, along with the provided Japanese bath suits and slippers, added a delightful touch to the experience.
The breakfast buffet featured a variety of healthy Japanese options, which I found both satisfying and nourishing. Additionally, the view of Kobe Tower from my room was a charming highlight.
The hotel's design reflects a refined minimalistic luxury, creating an elegant and calming environment. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a blend of comfort and traditional Japanese hospitality.

UUsuario anónimoNot sure what has happened to Japan standard in the past couple of years but had called the hotel to confirm that linens are scent free (standard in Japan before) and was told yes. Unfortunately they are not, this new laundry detergent that is slowly spreading throughout Japan is absolutely horrible causing all sorts of allergic reactions (not only to me.) I start having rashes, compromised breathing, and inflammation issues. If it’s the same detergent used back in America, then it might be eco-friendly, but definitely not human friendly. I truly hope that Japan goes back to the way it was before the introduction of some western products filled with harmful chemicals to humans. It is not because you don’t react to it that it is not harming your body, it’s only a question of time and when it does, you won’t know why and there is no turning back. Take it from an Asian American born who was the biggest fan of American marketed products. We do have good products like ECOLAB, which is both, sustainable for the environment without compromising human health. Maybe laundry company should look into that company or simply return to Japanese products before. Good thing thing their pyjama are still scent free so I had to wrap the bed and cover with their pyjama to get through the night.

SSelinda NgaiWe booked two standard rooms for one night in mid-March 2026. The location was excellent—both the subway station and a supermarket were conveniently located on the basement level.
However, the hotel rooms felt quite old and they really need renovation as soon as possible. Three of us couldn’t sleep due to the hot temperature. The rooms have fixed windows that can’t be opened for proper ventilation, and because both rooms face west, the rooms stayed very warm (around 26–28°C).
Although I can’t remember the name of the customer service staff member, we truly appreciated her attitude and assistance. Thank you so much!

Mmaymaymay33A fine hostel. No lift, so you'll have to haul your luggage up at least 4 flights of stairs. Towels are available only for rental. I didn't see much of the staff. The space was very clean, I stayed for two nights and there were only a couple other people. A little expensive for what it is, though I think prices in late December tend to be higher

UUsuario invitadoMy views is just merely the location, it's quite away from the city and my experience of the rail & subway seems not at all friendly comparing with all my whole trip. maybe there is much construction happening therefore it hinders the walk-way and directions signs & so forth. If not mistaken, the photo on the web seems not matching with the present, if that's so, would be good to up-date it.
