«The location is very good for a transit layover due to its location right next to the train station. Our ”skylight” room had a terrible air circulation and a bad room layout. The bed was good. I could shower for 3 minutes before the shower floor would flood and iwater would enter the room. Overall not very impressed. The international Ibis brand was upgraded a few years ago but don't let the wineglasses next to the reception fool you, the”red” Ibis brand remains a rock bottom budget hotel hardly ever worth of its 3 star rating. «일단 방이 엄청 넓습니다. 中街의 모든 호텔은 작고 비싸서 이곳을 택했어요. 내부는 군더더기 없이 깔끔하고 있을건 다 있습니다. 특히 저는 방에 있던 전자레인지로 남은 배달음식 데워먹는 게 너무 좋았어요. 가격이 싸서 침대가 딱딱할까봐 걱정했는데 침대는 상당히 크고, 푹신하고 편해서 늦잠자다가 아침 시장 한번을 못갔습니다. 그정도로 숙면 가능해요. 그리고 호텔이 아니라서 외국인 주숙등기를 걱정했었는데, 여권사진 보내면 사장님이 다 알아서 해주십니다ㅎㅎ
숙소에서 中街까지는 택시로 10분 내외 소요됩니다. 동서남북 관광지 어딜 가던 시간이 비슷할 정도로 전략적인 위치에 있습니다. 저는 택시만 타서 몰랐는데, 바로 밑에 역이 있더라구요. 지하철 이용할 경우 더더욱 편리할 것 같아요. 건물1층엔 슈퍼가 있고, 수건케이크로 한국인에게 유명한 holiland도 있어요. 근처엔 스타벅스가 있는 적당히 큰 쇼핑센터도 있습니다 (심양 미니소 중에 가장 큰 미니소도 있어요) 아무튼 알짜배기 숙소입니다»

VVyyc94Ok, location is good, because all the luxury brands are directly downstairs, but hey if you're not there to splurge, no point~ because getting to other popular shopping malls or tourist attraction, there's just no advantage. You may think you get VIP or warm greeting service, but honestly... only if you're lucky AND SEEN and if it's like from 12pm to 3pm? Cause i think that's when their staffs are alert. Next on, check-in is normal, nothing special, remember to pay a deposit. Next on, going to your room, someone will help you with your luggage to your room, which is great, because the floor is so carpeted it is hard to drag the luggage if it's really huge and heavy. Next on, the room... I have so much to comment. First of all, furniture looks old. Toilet is great (+1 point) because it is indeed the biggest and most spacious one i have seen. The cleaning folks does a good job cleaning the toilet BUT! i just cannot understand why can't they just change the smelly damped pillows???????? it's already there when we first checked in. It smells horrible, like your teenage cousin's wet sock after soccer practise in a shoe that never dried after washing. Gross! The really funny part is, you would imagined for such a huge room, the TV would be reasonably sized considering the distance from the bed. HAHAHHAHA, it's so small. I finally understand what it means by 'when someone is speechless, they really would laugh'. 人在无语的时候真的会笑. Like, you are a 5 star luxurious hotel but you can't give a bigger TV that has more modern functions???? Am i still living in the 2000s? Ok fine, maybe they have no budgets for upgrade, fine... It's not like we travel halfway across the globe to watch TV in bed. Next, TAKEAWAYS. Like this really made me so angry, they literally take no responsibility in helping you bring up the food. I mean I don't mind going down to take it myself but let me know i have to! They literally left my stuff there 30 mins until i called them. And the ridiculous part was the delivery guy actually took a photo to show me how he had already passed it to a staff and informed them to deliver it up! Next, their restaurant. Paid for a course meal, and instead of the dishes being served up one after another, they served everything up at one go... wow, ok fine no big deal. BUT dessert took 30 mins and not served. Do you know what is a coursed meal? Do you need to retrain your staffs? Do you think we could have finished the dishes so quickly? Aren't we supposed to savour the dishes and take our time because your head chef took time to design the menu and wine pairings? Like your service really defeats all purpose of us opting to have dinner there. So the irony is we were rushed through our food; we literally felt like we had to speed up because what if the dishes went cold. Then they took forever to serve dessert and we already told them we need had a movie coming up and we were running late. BAD SERVICE.
Overall, my review for this hotel is that, you're lucky you HAD GOOD REPUTATION & BRANDING in the past, but you are FRAILING. You do not deserve 5 star in almost all areas non-related to location. Yes, you may be considered luxurious because you're at the most prime area of Shenyang but so what? Your service and facilities are at most mid-range 4 star. Even 4 star hotels now have robots that would deliver takeaways and TV bigger than yours, and their pillows are clean, what an absolute joke. OK, maybe let's not get so negative, last redeeming factor: you do have a nice view of the city. For service, you may want to learn from your peers like Sofitel, Atour or Serendipidia. You're welcome.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was struck by its modern interior. The lobby was well - designed, with sleek lines and contemporary decor elements. It was a refreshing change from the often - stuffy and traditional hotel lobbies. The use of light colors and minimalistic furniture created an open and airy feel, setting a positive tone for my entire stay.
My room was a haven of cleanliness. Every surface, from the floors to the tabletops, was immaculately clean. The bedding was soft and fresh, and the pillows provided just the right amount of support. But thanks to Yunshangju's reliable drop - off service, I didn't have to worry about a thing. The service was prompt, and the driver was friendly and professional. They made sure I reached the airport in plenty of time for my flight, allowing me to start my journey with peace of mind.

Kitchen is equipped with the most necessary items, which is ideal when you have picky eaters so you can cook quick and easy meals. The hotel also have a restaurant that serves western food. The location is next to a lot of shopping centres, and underground malls. The train station is around 10 minutes walk, also it’s between two metro stops which both around 8-10 minutes walk. The gym is great, a lot of good quality equipment. The playgym for the kids also nice, maybe a few more toys would be good but overall it’s a good place to burn some energy for them. I highly recommend this hotel. My children enjoyed the Cinema too.

It is also easy to walk to the one of the biggest morning markets if you just follow the GaoDe Map.
I also walked to the nearest museum as the roads are easy to walk.
Highly recommend this place for the location and the affordable room rate.
There are a lot of restaurants, mini-marts, fruit shops right below the house. There’s also a mall within walking distance. There’s even a small gym nearby if you really can’t do without gym.
There are 3 halal restaurants within 5min walk distance from the apartment.
The room I got was spacious and well designed in my opinion. The pillars are made into a full body mirror which came as a surprise to me. The room got all that I needed for my week-long stay.
The Internet wasn’t stable enough for video calls.
Bring some ear plugs cos the quality of the walls are really thin.
Service from the owner was professional and really prompt. This is critical in this line of business.
This owner’s apartments appear to be much more in demand. (I gave up on another apartment by another owner and came here instead. The other owner in another block was a complete disappointment. That’s why I was happy to have found such a professional owner.)
Overall, can’t ask for more with this apartment at this rate. Definitely beyond my expectation. 👍

VVSTGood location, near to Shenyang Imperial palace and other attractions. Easy to reach by subway🚇, Huaiyuanmen station is the nearest station but you need to navigate to get to this hotel. It is located on the inner road next to other apartments. Once you come out of Huaiyuanmen station, Exit B, U-turn and you will see the main gate to Imperial Palace.Walk across the street into the main gate, keeping to your left. This is the inner road...walk along the road for 200m or so, you'll see a BBQ restaurant in your right and a gated parking area next to it. The hotel is just beside this restaurant. It's easy to travel around using public buses too.
The young pretty lady reception at the front desk was very helpful and courteous.
We stayed here for three nights. But our key card was deactivated on the second day which I don't understand why. The bearded guy, probably the boss activated the card for us after we came downstairs again. Then the next issue was when we opened our room door we were shocked to see that the room was not made up at all, although we had hung the signage at the door before we left in the morning.We came back in the evening, tired after one whole day of touring around Shenyang to find a room not made up and no replenishment of water and basic amenities. We had to go downstairs again to lodge the complaint and he was rather defensive, saying that I should have requested for making up the room at the front desk, in which I asked him what's the use of the signage card for. Thereafter, he took some time to replace the towels, bottled water and other basic toiletries.
In another review by another guest, this bearded guy was mentioned as a humorous man. However, I was taken aback by his comments including mentioning that we drink so much water when we requested for two extra bottles of water. FYI, we have been given lots of drinking water all the while when we stayed in China hotels. This is the 10th hotel that we are staying at during our 20-days trip to North Eastern China.
The only negative remark is the cleaning service in this hotel is unsatisfactory. Although, the next day the room was supposed to be cleaned, I had to pick up the hair and rubbish that was blocking the water outlet and also some food droppings on the carpet.
We're grateful that the hotel management upgraded the room for us. It would have been perfect if they looked into improving their cleaning services and responses to hotel guests.
