«La habitación era espaciosa y estaba muy limpia. El desayuno estaba bastante bien y el ambiente del hotel era agradable. La ubicación es muy cómoda tanto para el transporte como para las comidas. Justo al cruzar el paso subterráneo está la estación de metro. Al otro lado de la calle está el famoso Huogongdian, y en el centro comercial de abajo hay un Cha Yan Yue Se para probar. Al lado hay un antiguo lugar de rodaje (P2) de los estudios de cine Xiaoxiang que ha sido convertido en una pequeña zona turística, con una pequeña sala de exposiciones que se puede visitar.
Aunque el hotel es un poco antiguo y las instalaciones están un poco desfasadas debido al tiempo, tiene de todo. El aparcamiento de abajo es gratuito, pero cada vez que sales tienes que registrar el número de matrícula en recepción. MMishDishBishThis hotel really redefines what high quality service at luxury hotels should be - personable, friendly, attentive, and professional. The staff are eager to be helpful, are extremely communicative and responsive via WeChat, and cater to your every needs.
My impression before I arrived was already a positive one because they helped me arrange two packages to be sent in advance to the hotel. They even let me use their contact details as the contact number to make the order as I did not have a local phone number.
Upon arrival, the packages were waiting for us and housekeeping took away the leftover packaging. They also offer a free laundry service and I cannot emphasise how soft and nice smelling our clothes were when we received our freshly laundered clothes.
The bathroom amenities are the luxury brand Le Labo and the water provided is the mineral water brand Evian. Of course they also have Dyson hair dryers. The daily breakfasts are truly decadent with abalone on our first morning and Angus sirloin on our second morning. We can order seconds of any of the dishes we liked. Fruit juices are freshly made. The barista even made takeaway drinks for us to enjoy on our outings. Afternoon tea and evening soups are also provided and guests can choose what time they would like it to be served and where (for example, hotel room or hotel lounge). They even prepared cold milk for us to soothe us after we returned from dinner eating some local spicy Changsha chicken. Truly outstanding service!
One of the things that sets this hotel apart from any other we have stayed at are the afternoon activities they offer to their guests. On our second day we enjoyed a Cloisonné enamel class in the hotel and we will certainly be displaying the fruits of our hard work in our home when we return home. All the materials were provided to us and one of the lovely staff provided instructions and was extremely patient with us despite the language barrier. Such unique experiences on offer each day really make the stay so enjoyable for guests.
I can understand why this hotel was won so many accolades. The staff really have earnt this award. It is thanks to their dedication that this hotel has earnt such a prestigious reputation. It is genuinely worth every penny! I am not sure when we will return to Changsha but it is exciting to know that the hotel does have another branch in Chengdu which we will be keen to visit, perhaps next year. All I can say is that I will always have fond memories of this hotel and particularly its staff and this hotel has certainly set the bar high for outstanding service.

Location:
We stayed for 6 nights in the Jade Room, and the location couldn’t be better. The hotel is only a short 3-minute walk from Huangxing Pedestrian Street, tucked inside a small alley off the main road. While taxis can’t drop you right at the entrance, the walk is easy and luggage-friendly. The surroundings are quiet at night but still feel very safe. There’s also a nearby corner shop that holds Taobao parcels, which is super convenient, and the reception staff will guide you if needed.
Service:
The service was genuinely outstanding and truly made the stay feel like a home away from home. Communication was clear, warm, and responsive from the beginning. We confirmed our booking via WeChat and received prompt replies along with helpful directions and a clear map.
We arrived past midnight, but the staff kept in touch and reassured us that someone would meet us on arrival. A friendly young gentleman greeted us with a big smile, brought us to our room, and followed up with the passcodes for Wi-Fi and door access (the lobby area locks after 10pm).
Most evenings, they sent a message about homemade desserts available on a first-come-first-serve basis—such a thoughtful touch. They were also extremely helpful when I needed to order food through *******, letting me use the front desk number since I didn’t have a local phone. I was also able to receive Taobao parcels at the hotel, and the staff neatly gathered them for easy pick-up. Truly attentive and heartfelt service throughout.
Cleanliness & Room:
The room had basic amenities and toiletries, which were sufficient for a comfortable stay. However, we couldn’t find a safe or mini fridge— not a deal breaker, but something to note if you’re expecting those features.
The cleaning team was polite and checked in daily to see if we needed housekeeping. Fresh towels and bottled water were consistently provided, which we appreciated. Still, the overall cleaning could have been more thorough. We noticed crumbs and hair on the floor, suggesting that sweeping or vacuuming wasn’t done completely, and there were some shoe marks left in the bathroom. Not major issues, but worth mentioning.
Overall, it was a lovely stay, and despite the minor cleanliness concerns, we would happily rebook this accommodation on our next trip to Changsha.

服务（Service）：
酒店的服务真的非常贴心，让人有一种“家外之家”的感觉。沟通顺畅、友善且回应快速。我们通过微信确认了预订，酒店很快给了回复，并附上了详细的路线说明和清晰的地图。
我们是在深夜抵达的，但他们一路保持联络，告诉我们随时可以联系工作人员。到达后，一位年轻的小哥满脸笑容地迎接我们，带我们到房间，并马上发送了 Wi-Fi 和门禁的密码（酒店前台与客房通道晚上 10 点后会上锁）。
大多数晚上，他们都会发消息告诉我们当天有自制甜点，数量有限、先到先得——非常温馨的小惊喜。当我需要用**点餐时，他们也非常乐于协助，因为我没有中国手机号，他们让我直接填写前台号码作为联系号码。另外，我也收了不少淘宝包裹，前台都会帮忙整理好，让取件变得更方便。整体服务相当贴心、周到。
房间与清洁（Room & Cleanliness）：
房间提供基本的设施与盥洗用品，住起来还是舒适的。不过，我们没有找到保险箱或小冰箱——不是硬性需求，但如果你特别需要这类设备，建议提前确认。
清洁人员每天都会礼貌询问我们是否需要打扫房间，毛巾和瓶装水也都有每天补充，这点非常不错。然而，整体清洁度可以再更细致一些。我们发现地板上有一些面包屑和头发，似乎没有彻底打扫；浴室地面上也有鞋印。虽然不是严重的问题，但仍值得一提。
整体评价：

My family and I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Jato Hotel in Changsha, and it proved to be an excellent base for our adventures in this vibrant city. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, which is always a relief when travelling with children.
Our family room was a highlight. It was thoughtfully laid out, providing ample space for all of us and our luggage without feeling cramped. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after long days of sightseeing – a crucial factor for keeping everyone happy! We particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the room and, indeed, the entire hotel. It’s clear the staff take great pride in maintaining high standards.
The amenities at Jato Hotel catered well to our family's needs. While we didn't use every facility, knowing there was a restaurant on-site was convenient for those evenings when the kids were too tired to venture far for dinner. TTrish.tStaff was very friendly and helpful, the room is clean. Very near to mrt station directly go down from lift though we prefer getting around with Didi, pretty short distance too to streets. Snacks and amenities is provided.
Just one thing to be improve, get a new hook for people to hang our clothes after shower. The initial one was too close and inside shower, not convenient.
Other than that is a good place to stay at a reasonable price.

As a frequent traveler to Hunan, Changsha, I’ve stayed at many hotels around IFS and Wuyi Square, but traffic and congestion have always been an issue—until now. 236 FUNGEE Hotel was a refreshing change! Located just an 8-minute walk from IFS, it offers both convenience and peace.
A huge thank you to Dong Cheng and Peng Peng for their warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. The hotel was exceptionally clean—far beyond my expectations. Room service and complimentary laundry service were provided daily without fail, which made our stay all the more comfortable.
We also chose to upgrade with the breakfast buffet, and it was absolutely worth it. The portions were generous and the food was delicious every single morning.
A special highlight of our stay was the extraordinary support we received on our last day. My younger brother misplaced his necklace, and when we reported it, the hotel manager immediately engaged a team to help. Their swift and thorough action led to the necklace being found and returned to us—an act of kindness and professionalism we deeply appreciated. Special thanks to the beautiful and kind-hearted manager—you truly have a golden heart.
We are more than happy with our experience and will definitely return for our next visit to Changsha. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great stay with excellent service. Our friends and family will be hearing all about this gem!

HHi ranzhiPara un viaje de negocios a Changsha, me alojé en este hotel por recomendación de un colega, y la experiencia superó mis expectativas con creces. El servicio en la recepción de la primera planta fue excepcionalmente cálido. La señorita que me atendió hablaba con suavidad y mostró una actitud amable y atenta en todo momento, incluso me ofreció un upgrade a una habitación con cama king size y vistas al río.
La habitación era espaciosa y estaba completamente equipada; no solo disponía de bañera y albornoz, sino que también habían tenido el detalle de dejar una plancha, lo que me vino de perlas para mi necesidad urgente de planchar ropa y camisas.
La ropa de cama fue una grata sorpresa: el colchón tenía la firmeza justa y la ropa de cama era suave y agradable al tacto. Nada más apoyar la cabeza en la almohada, la fatiga desaparecía, y he dormido excepcionalmente bien y tranquilo estos días.
Pero lo más memorable fue la experiencia de las vistas desde la habitación: al abrir la ventana, se podía contemplar la panorámica completa de la Isla Naranja y el hermoso paisaje del río Xiang. Especialmente al anochecer, con el resplandor del atardecer inundando la estancia y el vibrante cielo teñido de colores sobre el río, la sensación de tranquilidad y confort era total, permitiendo que cuerpo y mente se relajaran por completo.

La habitación estaba impecable y las instalaciones y el equipamiento eran bastante completos, incluyendo secador de pelo, hervidor de agua y aire acondicionado.
