This is definitely a place I'd go back to. I stayed in one of the private rooms on the top floor. It was basic, clean, and comfortable. Shared bathroom wasn't really a major inconvenience. I suspect the summers are nice at the hostel. There were a couple decks with mountain views, but they were buried in snow when I was there. The other guests were nice, all skiers and snowboarders. The average guest age was probably in the late twenties. The staff were friendly and helpful. They kind of blend in with the guests. It was hard to tell who works there and who's a guest. I think they served breakfast, but for some reason I didn't eat there. I think it may have been a bit too late in the morning if you're trying to firstchair a lift. There are some restaurants and pubs around, but it's a bit of a hike to the main strip. Tip: you can poach the Marriott shuttle next door, just tip the driver nicely. Tip 2: If you never skied Park City, Deer Valley is lame except for one or two nice steep bowls.
