La Villa Saint Germain des Prés

I stayed at La Villa Saint-Germain-des-Prés in a Deluxe Double Room for 5 nights in March 2025 and absolutely loved it! This boutique hotel is truly wonderful. It was fully renovated very recently, and it shows. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful. Special shout-out to Julio on the concierge desk who was always ready with a smiling morning/afternoon/evening greeting (he seemed to be there constantly!). The room itself (Deluxe Double Room) was lovely and comfortable with all of the modern conveniences you would expect, and more! Heated bathroom floor! The largest and plushest bath towels of any hotel I've even stayed in anywhere in the world - and I'm not exaggerating! Two large screen TV's. Brand new coffee maker and kettle. And somehow the kettle boils water in the quietest way I've ever come across! Super fast WiFi - that never dropped out. Fabulous heating/cooling system that is controlled by a modern wall mounted unit. It takes a little working out (Julio showed me how to use it, when he ushered me to my room upon arrival), but once you get the hang of it, it's brilliant. Great artworks on the walls, with a hardcover book in the room that tells you the history behind each one and who the artist was. I found this super interesting and it added to the overall "specialness" of the room. Plenty of desk space and power outlets for plugging all of your devices into. A lovely two seater leather couch to relax on. Beautifully comfortable king size bed. A turn-down service at night (with complimentary snack items). I unfortunately didn't get to eat breakfast in the hotel dining room, but it looked very good (as I headed out the front door each morning)! The hotel location is magnificent. I'd not stayed in this part of the 6th before, and I can assure you, I will now stay nowhere else whenever I'm in Paris. Fabulous cafe's & restaurants (including the world famous Les Deux Magots), boutique shops, and historical sites all within easy walking distance of the hotel. In future, I absolutely won't be staying anywhere else other than at La Villa Saint-Germain-des-Prés whenever I am in Paris. A truly wonderful boutique hotel.

This is a really beautiful boutique hotel right in the heart of Paris. Bedroom was lovely with very comfy bed and lots of little extras which made our stay so special. Staff were exceptional and so helpful during our stay. Would highly recommend for a romantic city break.

This hotel has great position, everything is walking distance. Perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy French cuisine. Very close to major attractions. Definitely need to mention very attentive and caring staff. Even in the center of the city still very peaceful.

This was the perfect hotel for our visit. It is in the best location with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. We walked to most places we wanted to go or to the Metro which is just a couple of short blocks away. The hotel itself is great, super friendly staff - Celia and the team were always welcoming. The room we had was the slightly larger room size and it was very comfortable and big enough for two people. We had a lovely view out the window, which we opened wide to hear the activity from the street. Once the window was closed, we didn’t hear a thing and slept soundly. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the linens are high end, I could not ask for a more comfortable bed. They cleaned the room every day and also turned down the beds in the afternoons, which was great. Every day they left us fresh bottles of water by the beds too, which was a nice touch. We would definitely come again and stay at this hotel! We even went on a fantastic Seine dinner cruise on Le Calife (highly recommended) and it turned out the boat docks just a few blocks from the hotel and we just walked back and forth to it. We had a fantastic girls trip with lots of shopping and eating nearby!

Enjoyed 2 separate short stays at Hotel La Villa at each end of our recent trip to Paris and the South of France. We will definitely be back! The staff are all passionate about the customer experience, frequently going over and above to help us with our plans or dinner reservations, and even making fresh coffee at odd hours when we needed to catch an early train for a wine tour in the Loire Valley! Special thanks to Lehcin, Celia, and Julio, but many others were outstanding as well! The location is excellent to be in walking distance or a short cab ride to countless restaurants, shopping, and sites, near Blvd St Germain. We also learned that the hotel will be undergoing renovations soon to upgrade it to a 5 Star by 2023, so we will definitely look to stay here on our next visit!
