WS St Germain - Quartier Latin

We loved the apartment near in the center of the Quartier Latin. My husband and I walked around and visited a lot of known places and museum. Good bedding and cleanliness. The system access is very secured and autonomus, we've lost any time during the check out, there is absolutely nothing to do.

The apartment is actually as you can expect. We saw the pictures before, and there were no surprises. The bed is comfortable, the apartment (number 11) is quiet, perfect windows, although traffic is heavy beside. Not big, not too much space for belongings, but ideal for a couple and not a long stay. Kitchen equipment sufficient for breakfast or informal dinner. The emplacement, fantastic. We could walk from there everywhere.

All I can say is I wish I had read the reviews. The location is amazing and I think this is why it scores so high. The apartment itself was in need of lots of tlc. As other travellers have mentioned the smell was the biggest issue. When we arrived the smell was masked by very strong cleaning chemicals. We didn't arrived back at the apartment until very late on first night, but which point the chemical smell had been replaced by an overwhelming smell of damp. The beds and bedding where awful. Since we were at the front of the property on and there was scaffolding immediately outside we could not keep the one window that did open (bedroom one did not) open and it was most unpleasant. We discovered that there was black mould in the corner near the broken safe and having looked at other reviews it looks there there have been issues with damp for sometime. There was no air conditioning, which meant even on a cooler summer day it was too hot to sleep. The entry way is old and dirty (though the apartment itself was clean). The location is wonderful, but I wouldn't stay again.

Its a place you dont wanna find yourself while you tired and travelling. At the beggining we were thinking we are at the wrong adress. The place at the first floor looked like a hall for homless , no light and strange smell. The first surprise in the room , no air conditioning , so i open the windows , but the noise from the street was too much to sleep like this. After I realise there was no way to sleep in this place, the walls were from paper, and i could here everybody in practicly every room + the cleaning woman talking loud on the phone in the morning. And if this was not enought there was no hot water, so i had no choice then move somwhere else. Very unpleasant experience and quite expensive. These apartments are absolutely not worth the price, its more a cheap hostel condions .

Rated 0, small room with broken tv, broken toilet seat, no fan or aircon, no hot water on the 3rd day of 5 days, hall light broken and need phone light to walk down hall to room door. No compensation and just say sorry. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Don’t book here. Still no hall light or hot water

Very nice apartments, all eqipments were ok and the staff is very very professional and available to solve all request of the guests. For sure my next trip in Paris will be in a ws apartments again. Many thanks to all the staff for a quickly answer and friendly communication. Cadeau of bon bons in second day of our permanence was very appreciated.
