"This was honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. From the moment I checked in, there was not a single night where I could sleep properly. The room was an old-style connecting room with a locked door in the middle, but the soundproofing was basically non-existent. It honestly felt like the person next door was sleeping in the same room as me. I could hear them snoring clearly, let alone talking on the phone or watching videos. It was a disaster. The soundproofing towards the corridor was just as bad. At night, drunk guests were shouting in the hallway at 1 or 2 a.m., and it felt like they were shouting right next to my ear. On top of that, the hotel had karaoke every night, usually starting around 8 or 9 p.m. If you were lucky, it ended around 11:30 p.m.; if not, who knows. My room faced that side, so I had to listen to loud shouting and singing all night. Even with AirPods noise cancellation on, there was still a very loud vibrating bass sound. It was basically impossible to rest. The only positive thing I can say is that the receptionist on the first night was very friendly. Other than that, I had no good impression of this hotel at all. I would absolutely not recommend staying here."

"We stayed at Helios Bay Hotel for two nights and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is a little older and could definitely benefit from some renovation and modernization, especially in the rooms, but everything was very clean and well maintained. The location is excellent, and the surrounding area is perfect for enjoying the sea and exploring Paphos. Our room was comfortable enough for a short stay, and the cleanliness really stood out. The reception staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One thing to keep in mind is that there is no elevator in the hotel, so guests should be prepared to use the stairs. This is especially important if you are travelling with large or heavy luggage, as carrying it up and down the stairs can be difficult. Overall, a nice choice if you’re looking for a clean, well-located hotel with friendly service. With some renovation, it could be even better! 🌊☀️"

The kitchen/dining hall staff were very kind, the entertainment staff (Bogdan, Damian, Sanni and Jazmin) were super funny and very chill/relaxed while knowing to stay professional, and handled situations/issues as they arose (there was only ever one i saw between a party of guest), the bar staff as well were so helpful even during massive rushes during the night time/evening entertainment, and the cleaning staff were also very friendly and said hello whenever i walked past them, amazing experience overall. I would recommend this to any families, even with young children. We visited with my 5 year old sister and she enjoyed herself thoroughly. I'd love to come again"

"All of the staff are warm, accommodating & friendly. We were grateful that Maria made sure that we were allocated a room in the building of our choice. The room was very well equipped with a good size & modern fridge & freezer. Plus oven, microwave & all the plates & cutlery you could possibly need. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. The resort is clean & both pool areas are kept clean & tidy. Breakfast is excellent value for money. Be aware that you need to bring a towel from home to use at the pool. Very easy to walk into town from this location. Lots of parking"

"We had a really lovely stay here. We stayed for two weeks & it was the perfect relaxing get away we were hoping for. There are three pools, of which the infinity one was our favourite. It was a quieter area round there & offered a bit more shade. The sunbeds are nice & thick & drinks are brought to you. Frozen strawberry daiquiris & margaritas were our favourite. You do get sunbed reservers but this wasn’t really an issue for us as there was still choice & often still choice come 10am. There was only one day we struggled & I believe this may have been a change over day as it seemed very busy. Our room was lovely (28), very large & clean, only negative was the air con, I think it was in the wrong placement for the room. Really enjoyed the food & felt there was a good selection & of good quality. Only exception to that would probably have been the ‘gourmet’ night which we didn’t really rate. I know there was snack food available but this wasn’t something we needed & stuck to the restaurant times. The à la carte is definitely worth a visit & was absolutely lovely. Entertainment was minimal, largely singers, wasn’t really a factor for us when we were booking but was a nice touch. Location is residential but not a negative. Close enough to get to the harbour & shops in about 15. There’s also a shop right outside. The shuttle service is great taking you to the mall, harbour & beach. The mall is definitely worth a visit. Negative for us on the shuttle was whilst the driver, George, is very friendly he was very pushy on trying to get us to book excursions with him. I don’t think this was everyone’s view but it was our experience. He was half an hour late to pick us up & whilst the hotel said it was traffic related the other couple already on said it was because he was pulled over & selling & arranging a trip for another couple. Overall we loved our stay & would definite come again in the future."
