Panormo Beach Hotel

The rooms are outdated, with minor repairs needed on the bedside cabinets and light shades falling apart , the toilet seats always coming apart, minor but annoying. You have a small fridge in the room in the wardrobe, no kettle and no coffee / tea available in the hotel, and no restaurant you have to collect a voucher and walk up the road to a restaurant where you get 10 choices, you get a bottle of cold water a Greek salad, a main dish and a chocolate ice cream for dessert you have to pay for any other drinks you want ,, nice place lovely staff ,but not in the hotel itself . Breakfast is a military affair, the coffee machine is out the arc , the toaster has special effects , you get the choice of toasted one side if you put bread in the middle two slots and toasted both sides if you use the otter slots, seems the norm going by the staff member explaining it !, needs a bigger toaster , the cereal is horrible, I ended up buying my own and using the yogurt, ( they offered me milk when I can’t take milk , went and bought yogurt too,was told to come back later …. ( photos will be put on ). This was a package holiday, other than that the hotel is in a quiet place .the pool area is lovely and quite, smells of at pee,,,the resident cat, looks a bit mad , but it’s got a broken jaw, will be your friend forever if you feed. It . Our ground floor rooms was ideal , sunny in afternoon nice place to sit if you can stand cat pee smell … lol

The Panormo Beach Hotel is a great place. The location is just next to a really nice beach and the town itself is full of nice tavernas and bars. The rooms are clean and functional. The reception desk is very friendly and always willing to answer queries about transport etc. The breakfast is pleasant.

Really nice and clean hotel, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast good and plentiful. Pool very nice with shade available, you have to ask for a kettle for your room if you want one, very well placed for beach and centre of the village with everything you need within a few minutes walk

Excellent hotel within walking distance to all the beaches in Panormo plus the tavernas, shops and cafes. The staff are exceptionally warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean with little fridge, TV, and WIFI. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. My friend and I had a twin bedded room at the back, with a terrace and direct access to the pool which is surrounded by green grass, plants and flowers. There is a large free parking area opposite and belonging to the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.

I 'd say it is a little quiet place the beach is very close the rooms are fine. What I would recommend is to bring your own hairdryer. The pool is very small but clean and nice but who cares when the sea is so close.Ac works properly . Breakfast for us was alright if you don t have any high special expectations or requests the basic is covered. The staff was friendly the room was cleaned when requested. The nearest bigger city Rethymno can be reached through a bus every 30 minutes . For families is good because it is very quiet at night.

I stayed at Panormo Beach Hotel for one night as I moved between villas. The hotel is well placed in the heart of the village, being just a short walk from shops, tavernas and beaches. I had a double standard room with a sea view. The room was a very good size and the bathroom was large, and everything spotlessly clean. . Great private balcony which had a table and three chairs. TV with multiple channels, great air con and wifi. The check in and check out was really friendly and efficient too. Breakfast included in the price but I opted for a lazier morning and then a walk into the village for brunch (at the lovely Vinzi Cafe). Parking is free and just opposite the hotel entrance. My stay was not long enough to use all the facilities but plenty of other residents were making great use of the garden and pool. . Highly recommendEd and would definitely return.
