Stella Beach Hotel

What a fabulous find. A lovely friendly family run hotel, nothing is too much trouble. We booked a basic room which was lovely and clean for myself and my daughter. We were very happy with it but then we had trouble with the shower and toilet. The staff resolved it immediately with no fuss and an apology. We were upgraded to a higher standard room. This was fabulous. The fact that there was no fuss and they were very apologetic made the matter easy to resolve Apart from that it is very very quiet. Pool area spotless and stunning . Small menu choice for lunch but all the same delicious It is approx 20 min walk into Panormos itself. If it was too hot we took a taxi €8 Is approximately 40 mins to Rethymno again we took a taxi €30 each way. If you do not know Panormos then you may feel that you are in the middle of nowhere but 15 mins from your doorstep you have the beautiful fishing village with many shops bars and restaurants. Not much of a beach at the hotel but again there are a couple down in the village Overall a fantastic find for us excellent value for money- basic but that is what we wanted Thank you Stella Beach we hope to see you again Helene Thornton

Stella is one of the most incredible hosts you will ever have! She cares about her guests as if they’re family, ensures that your experience is outstanding with her kind and caring hospitality. She offers GREAT typical meals. The hotel offers parking, an amazing swimming pool and fantastic outdoor facilities in general with a breathtaking view of the beach. As a bonus you’ll enjoy one of the best sunsets ever!

Very basic hotel. No mattress protection, pillow with stains, bed broken, towels with stains. Breakfast buffet but dinner was not a buffet. It was like a lottery- sometimes food was cold and old. The dishes are washed by hand as there is no dishwasher, the glasses smell . The same lady washes and cleans the rooms, and the same lady works in the. kitchen. She watches your every move. The owner Stella was unapologetic and gets very angry. No soap or anything to wash hands in the room. The hotel needs urgent hygiene inspection

The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The hotel has many well air conditioned and clean rooms (cleaned daily to a very good standard) with a beautiful sea view and a fantastic pool that also overlooks the sea! We really enjoyed the traditional greek food, cooked by the owner (Stella) herself. Located in a very cute Cretan village with many restaurants bars and beaches- just a bus ride away from the centre of Rethymno. We will be coming back!

Wir kommen jetzt seit einigen Jahren in dieses für uns schönste Hotel im kleinen Dorf Panormos, die Ruhe und der tolle Ausblick vom Pool und aus den Zimmern aufs Meer sind einfach traumhaft, es ist alles da was man braucht, ein kleiner Kühlschrank mit im Zimmer, Tv, WiFi vorhanden, die Zimmer sind frisch renoviert und modernisiert, die Familie die das kleine Hotel führt, leistet großes und gibt alles um es ihren Gästen einen so unvergesslichen Aufenthalt wie möglich zu bereiten, sowohl Essen, als auch Getränke an der Bar sind sehr abwechslungsreich, wir kommen nicht nur als Gäste, sondern inzwischen auch als Familienmitglieder jedes Jahr, danke an Stella und all die guten Seelen die so tatkräftig mit im Hotel mitwirken....

Goed en schoon familiehotel met vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk en gevarieerd ontbijtbuffet. Mooi, groot zwembad, dat tijdens ons verblijf in augustus zeer rustig was. We verbleven in een zeezicht kamer, die onlangs gerenoveerd is. De douche was al aan vervanging toe. Fijne koelkast op de kamer met een groot, apart vriesgedeelte. Veel keuze uit heerlijke cocktails bij de hotelbar. Op loopafstand van de leuke plaats Panormos. Het strandje nabij het hotel stelt niet veel voor, maar op een paar autominuten ligt Geropotamos, een mooi strand met taverne, bar en ligbedden met parasols.
