It’s an older converted motel and it does show some wear and tear. But it had some things that $350/night hotels lack. It had a towel ring next to the sink. It had really big, really deep drawers. It had a mini-fridge that was empty and actually useful. It had a safe large enough to fit a laptop. There was room to hang a full-length dress. Bathroom was small, but O.K. with a walk-in shower Bed was big and comfortable. The folks at the front desk were very polite, welcoming, and efficient. Room was clean, clean, clean. On the downside, walls are thin and you hear a lot of outside noise. Very squeaky floors. I wouldn’t have wanted to be in a room under us. Strangely, no clock in the room. Water temperature in the shower can quickly change quickly from comfortable to cold and back to comfortable. There is not an elevator for second floor rooms, but they warn you about that when you check in. We stayed in a second floor Lanai King room. The rooms are in various states of renovation, so ask for a recently renovated room.
