Just had 10 days at this hotel, and it wasn't the kind of hotel we were used to. THE ROOM Room was nice (recently refurbished) Although we had no drawers for clothes and only 5 hangers in the wardrobe , comfort wise ,the beds were very very comfortable. No room instructions on how to use the safe, no guide for telephone number's for reception etc, or any other information folders about places of interest etc. Room was cleaned every day. SNACK BAR Drinks bar was okay for beers and other local drinks, be aware the soft drinks from the self serve ( not branded) Rola Cola, and orange looking fizzy water) definitely stay away from the lemon and lime drinks, (the smell reminded me of a toilet cleaner) I could have a white Rum,but if I wanted dark rum there's a charge at the top bar, ( oh and they ran out of gin one night) Cocktails were also chargeable at the top bar. Although it's all inclusive service you're expected to pay for drinks after 11:00 at night and other branded drinks and speciality drinks like iced coffees. My biggest challenge at the snack bar was trying to get the Guy that served the Gyros to smile, the Gyros was small ,pork ,small dollop of sauce ,1 piece of tomato, and a sprinkling of onion or you could have a slice of cold pizza if available . EVENING MEAL Dining room is all over the place ,no meet and greet, different foods scattered throughout the trays, no tables were set, get yourself a knife and fork, get your dinner, own drinks and then find yourself a table, no assistance at all, just staff there to clear tables, most nights between 7.30 and 8.30 it was manic, although I can say the food was excellent, not repetitive at all with a good amount of choice. WIFI The WiFi throughout the hotel is usually hit and miss, didn't work very well around the pool and snack bar. GUESTS Be aware, very few English at this hotel during our stay and that's something the rep says they're looking to improve on in the future, While we were here, we felt isolated with only 6 rooms occupied by English out of the 195 rooms the hotel has, Its predominantly Eastern European guests who were there usual ignorant self (bear in mind) this hotel is mainly geared up for those guests. POOLS Pool side the sun loungers and makeshift parasols had seen better days (see photo) by the large pool with no lifeguard on dedicated duty, he spends most the time walking round clearing tables and sunbeds then back to the pool bar to help serve drinks. The children's water park section never got cleaned whilst we were here, with dead insects and bits of sand littered some areas. Very little in the way of daytime activities, I witnessed aqua aerobics and water polo a few times. ENTERTAINMENT No Adult entertainment at night except on Tuesday when it's Greek night although the kids have a mini disco from about 8:30 by the snack bar every night. The Animation team wasn't geared up for the English, they only appeared twice a day (once for the morning and afternoon da
