After a week in Sicily my wife discovered this hotel and the decision was to go and visit Palermo...just because of the hotel. It did not disappoint us at all, it is a beautiful and intriguing boutique hotel (we think is has either 6 or 8 rooms), and at the same time made us discover Palermo, with its history and very friendly people. We were received at the door by Andrea and then met all the staff and the owner, beautiful and bubblt Rosa. The room was super interesting, bedroom and living/kitchen area separated by two glass doors, it made us wonder how Rosa managed to fit (comfortably, I should say) the room, living, kitchen, bathroom and even a mini foyer! The getting to the door made us think twice about going by car, in reality it was very easy to get in and out, of course we left the car at the door and the staff took care of taking it to a closed garage, and had it returned just in time for our luggage to be put on board (it should be said that my wife is 75 and I am on the way to 80, and did not put one scrtch in the paint at all). Too bad we could only stay one day, but we will try and come back, imagine all this and then meet the other guests for breakfast in a separate room and having an afternoon drink (or tea) in a converted library overlooked by a mezzanine, all very whimsical and inviting. Thanks Rosa and all the staff, you have a winner and we hope and know that you will be a success.
