We are completing a 5-night stay at this beautiful resort immediately above the Mediterranean Sea. The property is beautifully maintained, and I’m happy to have splurged for a sea view suite with private terrace. The resort is spotless, and the staff are constantly keeping things perfect. More impressively, the staff are so kind and helpful and clearly want every guest to have a great experience. The food is exceptional with a lot of variety; the dinners are equal to a fine dining experience anywhere. We will definitely return to Capo d’Orso!

Amazing views and cozy environment. Staff very friendly, a special thank to Komal and Soufiane for their dedication and fantastic work However restaurants may need a little extra efforts, specially Paguro. We had dinner and we were disappointed with quality of food but also witnessed smthg strange.. a very loud fight at the kitchen that the staff tried to do their best to hide. The floating restaurant was exceptional both in terms of views and quality Beside that we had a lovely stay and we would consider coming back.

Spent an amazing 10 days at this glorious resort - my wife and myself and my two sons in their early 20's. The hotel grounds were beautifully maintained and the staff were exceptional across all the grounds. I would like to call out Claudio and his team at the Gli Olivastri restaurant which we used twice a day as we were on a half board package. The dinner menu changes daily so you are always left looking forward to what was going to be on offer the next day. The local private beach area is pristine and quiet - we enjoyed it daily vs hotel pool. Our apartment was well proportioned and appointed in a traditional Sardinian style. The beds were very comfortable - the balcony area could have been slightly larger for 4 adults. My only gripe would be the price of using the SPA and other facilities in the hotel complex which we rarely used as a result. Otherwise it would be hard to find any faults in this hotel - one of the best I have stayed at ever and our memories will endure forever!

Hotel Capo D’Orsa was an amazing stay in Sardinia. I came with my sister and we had amazing water front views from our hotel room. The concierge was spectacular planning a boat day to take us to see the sights of La Maddalena. The spa was fabulous and has a private thermal pool that we had completely to ourselves. The hotel is very peaceful and beautiful. A favorite of ours was dinner at La Pagura - Angelo the lead of the restaurant was so kind and attentive + the local spiny lobster was so good. We will definitely be back!!

Upon arriving at Hotel Capo d’Orso, the experience initially appeared promising. As a “Leading Hotel of the World,” they welcomed us with champagne and cold iced tea, creating a pleasant atmosphere. We were seated on the patio for the check-in process, where we overheard other families expressing concerns over not receiving guaranteed rooms they'd booked in advance. During check-in, an attendant approached us requesting our passports, leaving us hopeful for a quick and smooth process. Shortly thereafter, another attendant came by, stating there was an issue with our presence at the hotel and inquiring where we would all be staying. This left us baffled, as we couldn't understand what he was referring to. We promptly informed him of our reservation for the “Family Suite.” Despite the suite having ample room—with a king bed, sofa bed, and a separate room containing two twin beds—the hotel claimed our family couldn’t stay there. That is more than enough space to sleep a family. They further suggested adjusting our stay by booking additional rooms for $11,000—a price clearly meant to exploit guests during check-in. It was clear we weren’t alone in the challenges of checking in at this hotel. Our previous two nights at the splendid Sardinian-Hotel La BITTA had been perfect, where the beach, rooms, and service exceeded all expectations. Our family was treated with respect and our children complimented on their manners and respect. In stark contrast, Hotel Capo d’Orso failed to honor our reservation, keeping our deposit and leaving us scrambling for alternate accommodations at the last minute, resulting in thousands of dollars/euros spent unnecessarily. If you’re planning a visit to Sardinia or Italy, steer clear of Hotel Capo d’Orso and any establishments owned by Delphina Hotel & Resorts. Our experience featured the worst service we’ve ever encountered. Do Not Stay Here!!!

We have just returned from this stunning hotel and what a fabulous time we all had. Our stay at Hotel Capo d'Orso was nothing short of magical. It was our first time in Sardinia but definitely won’t be our last. The hotel is tucked away and is the perfect blend of understated luxury and natural beauty. The setting is truly spectacular no matter which direction you look. The water is unbelievably clear and was perfect for swimming and paddling, plus there are lots of lovely places to sunbathe in peace throughout the resort. The food was excellent, with a variety of fresh & delicious options. Breakfast was a joy to each morning with gentle sound of a live harpist. The standout feature, however, was the staff, who made the whole experience unforgettable. We were warmly looked after by the lovely Claudio, Elenora, Rosa, and Elise, whose attention to detail, warmth, and genuine kindness made every meal feel special. Claudio kindly arranged a couple of delicious “off menu” treats for our teenage boys, who were thrilled by this. At the beach, Ricardo was the perfect host—friendly, attentive, and always smiling. Giacomo at the bar, Georgia at the Pizza restaurant and a big thank you to Francisco, the most helpful concierge, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless—from restaurant bookings to thoughtful local tips. The lifeguards were also super friendly & helpful but unfortunately I didn’t write their names down! All of the staff throughout the resort were faultless, I wish I could mention everyone by name. Hotel Capo d’Orso stole our hearts. We left feeling recharged, pampered, and already longing to return. An absolute gem. 5 stars without question. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This hotel is not 5 star by quite a long way. The rooms and furniture are tired without any charm - to be kind I would use the word functional.!! The water pressure is extremely poor - the worst we have experienced in any supposedly 5 star hotel. The bathroom towels are old and need to be changed. The hotel has approximately 86 rooms and the beach area and pool ( not the spa ) are not adequate to offer sufficient beds and pool loungers if the hotel is close to being full and where clients are looking for some shade. We saw clients being turned away because nothing was available. Very important if guests are not fully mobile then there are countless steps and levels which make life very difficult going up and down between the beach and the pool - it is tiring and potentially dangerous particularly at night as the lighting is inadequate. The staff are helpful and friendly and make a good general impression.!! As far as food is concerned the main restaurant offering a 4 course meal in the evening for €80 is nothing special and we strongly recommend that you eat in Il Paguro where Angelo rules the roost for some 25 years offering some decent Italian dishes and cooking specializing in fresh fish at lunch and dinner. Reasonable pricing , good service and friendly , helpful staff and you can order some specials with notice if you are looking for something particular. The beach is OK but is a little small and the locals are also using it but are separated from the hotel guests. Hotel needs substantial investment to get it back up to scratch and quite frankly we would not return although possibly there are better hotel options with the Dolphins Group on the Costa Smeralda. Beware if any of your party has any mobility problems as this may ruin your vacation.!! The location is good and quiet.
