This hotel is in need of a little TLC which is currently taking place but all the important stuff is there. Soft comfy bed, good aircon, good shower and plenty of hot water. Great views of the river and bridge. Great pool and breakfast in a lovely indoor restaurant. The evening restaurant has fantastic views over the river and a good selection of local and international dishes. The building itself and lobby is very impressive and is immediately visible when entering Pakse. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and attentive, particularly the girls on reception who were very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and it was our favourite hotel in Laos yet very competitively priced.

Las habitaciones son muy espaciosas y confortables. La cama es XXL. El personal es muy atractivo y escucha. La limpieza es impeccable. El desayuno es variado y es abundante. La esquina de la piscina en el techo es muy agradable. El hotel también ofrece alquiler de motos y traslados de las ciudades y el aeropuerto.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sang Aroun Hotel! The hotel is very good overall, only minor deficiencies. Location of the hotel is prime - right in the centre of ”downtown” Pakse (Pakse is exceptionally small), and within a stone's throw of many restaurants, mini markets, and tourist agencies. The large supermarkets like ”V Market” and ”Friendship Supermarket” are located only about 2 km by foot - I was able to walk to both in less than 30 mins to stock up on bigger supplies. The hotel is also less than 10 mins from the airport by Tuk Tuk, just over the bridge. Location is ideal! Rooms were large and spacious. Rooms were basic, with simple decoration, but clean. Staff were happy to provide basic amenities like an electric kettle, and two coffee mugs, upon request, so I could make coffee in the morning (I don't like 3-in-1 coffee)! The room also had working air conditioning, wifi (but very weak signal in the rooms - only strong in the reception area/ground level floor), and a working fridge. The fridge kept its cool throughout the day, so your drinks were cold when you returned from exploring! Basic toiletries were provided such as 2 little shampoo bottles, shower caps, and bar soap. This was fine for me, as I still had a supply of toiletries I was carrying from other hotels. The hotel also replenished two bottles of water every morning. Housekeeping was fantastic! The cleaning service was wonderful and they provided fresh towels every day. They had changed my linens halfway through my 4-night stay also. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly, and smelled fresh. My only minor complaints would be the shower pressure. It wasn't great, but it was manageable. The shower handle in my room also was broken, so it took awhile to finally shut off the water when I was finished showering. Water was very hot, however. The shower curtain doesn't really contain the water either - so the bathroom floor is filled with water after you take a shower. Common setup in these regions, even if not practical. And finally, the sink water drips onto the floor, leaving large pools of water. Otherwise, the bathroom was fairly clean! Just small pockets of mould and mildew, but I feel like this is due to the humid climate here, and staff do their best to keep it maintained/clean. Staff were just amazing here - from reception to cleaning staff. Very professional, welcoming, and friendly! Happy to help out with any additional requests. For example, one night, my door handle was stuck and I couldn't turn the key to get into my room - reception staff helped me out and then took care to fix the handle so I didn't have the same problems in future! Breakfast buffet was good, depending on your tastes. It's Laos, so they cater towards Asian tastes, which means white rice, hot mixed meat and vegetable dishes, rice stew, fried eggs, and chicken sausages were on offer. There were also some (but limited) Western options like toast with jams and fresh cut fruits (watermelon and dragon fruit). N

Muy cómoda ubicación( 2mins al gran mercado, cama limpia y muy cómoda. Wifi está bien. Personal muy agradable. Precio muy razonable. He cometido un error en mi fecha de reserva que no es reembolsable, llamé al hotel y la amable aceptación de cambiar mi fecha. Fue para 3 habitaciones. Gracias. Las necesidades del hotel son cuidados un poco. El parking es un tipo de limitado. Recomendarlo!

Super clean rooms, very nice breakfast and superb food. But the host she is probably the most friendly and helpful woman in this world. Once arrived there I got infected with Dengue fever and ended up in the hospital for a week. She brought me food and drinks 3 times a day and helped me with translation and transport for my entire stay at the hospital, all free of charge. I can not thank her enough for what she did to me as she was the light in a very difficult period. I would highly recommend this place and whenever I am back in Pakse, there will be only 1 hotel I will stay in. Thank you so much for everything!!!!!!!

La habitación de la ciudad es muy agradable, pero no es muy agradable. Es una vergüenza que el flujo de agua no funcione durante nuestra estancia, supongo que esto se desplazó a la baja ocupación, pero como pagar a los huéspedes se habría apreciado si hubieran girado el agua para que podamos usarlo! Nos beneficiamos del alquiler de moto del resort, había una serie de opciones disponibles y nuestra bicicleta nos sirvió bien para el paseo de diez minutos en ciudad y también para viajes más a campo hacia el plato Bolaven, caídas de agua y el templo Wat Phu. El hotel está muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien, muy bien. Encuentro que esta es una excelente opción para nuestra estancia Pakse, estar justo fuera de la ciudad significa que es muy tranquilo, con vistas ininterrumpidas de las colinas alrededor y fue mejor valor que los hoteles más pequeños, en el centro de la ciudad.

Si buscas habitaciones y instalaciones modernas este hotel puede no ser tú (de hecho puedes estar en el país equivocado). Un estancia aquí es tomar en un poco de la historia de Lao. El hotel es enorme y cuando nos quedamos casi vacíos de huéspedes. Las habitaciones son enormes aunque un poco espartánicas. El lugar entero aún tiene la sensación de un palacio aunque la grandeza ha desaparecido. La sala de cenas es una gran hermosa sala, pero el desayuno es básico y tomar su mosquito repulsivo! ¿Qué decir de este lugar donde llegamos, cansados de 300 km de autobús local ... Inexistente en ese punto, es raro ... 3 jóvenes que intercambiaron sus ojos entre el teléfono y el amigo para ver quién haría el trabajo a nuestra llegada. No uno comprende una palabra de inglés, no uno que se mueve ... Y acabaron con sus motos y teléfonos ... La patrona habla francés, nos cotiza 3-4 mn y desapareció mostrandome una mesa donde están los vasos y el KF para mañana por la mañana. En realidad, no hay KF, sólo té en bolsas de base y agua caliente. No hay consejo, nada, una indiferencia raramente visto en Laos (y conozco desde los años 2005). Sala miserable, iluminación neón tipo sala de espera, ducha no limpia, litrie bof.. , Debí quedarme dos noches (muy caro El día siguiente perdí mi pago. Se ha ido ... Mediocre !!!
