Lodge Aram Cottage is nestled Pakhiralaya village of Sunderban in West Bengal. To get away from the busy chaotic city-life and experience an amazing and spine-thrilling holiday, one must definitely explore nature at its wildest best. The Sunderbans, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an enchanting mix of mangrove forests, inland waterways, mudflats, innumerable flora and fauna. A haven for the endangered Royal Bengal Tiger, the Sunderbans is a national park, tiger reserve and a biosphere reserve.
Hotel features front desk, parking, housekeeping and doctor on call service in case of any medical emergency. The rooms in the hotel are spacious and airy comes with simple decor and basic amenities such as restful beds, clean linen, table, chairs and attached bathrooms with hot/cold water and essential toiletries.For lip smacking food guests can head to nearby dinning facilities.
To reach property guests can take train from Kolkata to Canning, it is the nearest rail head to Sundarban Tiger Reserve. Guests can also use bus services from Kolkata to Godkhali. Once get down at the Godkhali bus stand, guests have to walk to the boat point and take a boat to the Gosaba island. Car or bus has to be parked here only at near the bus stand. Gosaba island is the biggest and the last inhabitated island towards Sundarbans. Even being an island, it has its own self-governance, hospital, roads, market, banks, school etc. Guests can buy fruits, mosquito coil, coffee, snacks on this island at regular rate.
