Blue Pacific Apartments

Nice view and clean with kitchen No A/C has 3 little portable fans, Extremely steep narrow driveway. Can hear people above you going toilet shower etc and male owner/caretaker in room 11 just slammed door in my face only for asking for some extra milk as it was our second night staying said only get 1 per visit as it’s too expensive give milk every night, I offered to buy some said go to shop buy some slammed dr on me second time. Was a very rude person definitely in wrong job.

We had a comfy 2 bed unit with a hot tub on the balcony and an amazing view of the bay across to Russell. The unit was thoughtfully provided with anything you might need; not brand new, but very clean and well furnished. Our parking spot was right outside. Staff were welcoming and friendly and the place was quiet and soundproof. We had a really relaxing stay and used it as a base to visit local attractions. The Waitangi Treaty grounds are just up the road, and there are plenty of local restaurants plus a supermarket just round the corner. Lovely spot!

The views are outstanding from our 2 bedroom / Hot tub apartment.The son of the owner is a treasure trove of information about where to go and what to see and the ladies/ staff are so friendly and keep this place so very clean.There are very few motels/ apartments like this one that have every utensil and implement in the kitchen that you could possibly need.They insist on cleaning your room daily and replacing all linen along with cleaning the fridge etc.The large outdoor BBQ overlooks the bay and was great to have that. The beds were soft,the shower instantly hot and the cost was very affordable.

Our family of four had a very comfortable stay for five nights in late January. The best thing about the apartment was that it was very well equipped with everything you might need, almost as if you were at home - e.g. everything from a huge range of tea to things like cling film and aluminium foil, which meant you didn’t have to purchase your own for one time use. All of the appliances and the kitchen utensils were of good quality, as were the towels. Plumbed in filtered drinking water was much appreciated as the local tap water is not great. The WiFi was fast and stable, with no complaints from data hungry teenagers. The washing machine worked fine and there were a couple of drying racks and plenty of pegs. The location is excellent, with a good size supermarket less than 500 metres around the corner, plus a cafe and a takeaway fish and chip shop a few hundred metres in the other direction. Walking into Paihia for shops and restaurants was an easy 10 minute walk. Note that there is a steep driveway from the road to the apartments so people with mobility issues will struggle to walk this. The weather was generally good which meant nice views out to the Bay of Islands. Beach towels are available (no charge) for the duration of your stay, so one less thing to bring.

What a fantastic spot and apartment. Greeted by exceptionally friendly manager and staff who were very helpful. Arrived early and they still allowed us to go into the apartment. So clean and beautifully furnished - with all the little things taken care of - even down to extras such as place mats and egg cups as well as serving dishes. All the crockery matched which is a small thing but made the difference. We are now on our 5th week of traveling NZ and definitely one of the best apartments so far!!

Great apartment on the sea front. Apartment was extremely well equipped and the main bedroom with the sea view was was big and airy. Apartments are located about a 10 minute walk to the main area. Well stocked supermarket also around the corner.
