Waitangi Holiday Park

Such a beautiful location right on the waters edge. I stayed in one of the four standalone cabins. Each had their own covered outdoor seating area facing the water which was great when it was both sunny and raining. The cabin was clean and had all the equipment I needed. I was impressed that they provided washing up liquid, scrubbing brushes etc as often these sorts of things are not provided. There was no air con but fans were provided which helped and the bed was comfortable. The shower/kitchen block was close by with plenty of toilets and two showers. Both showers were hot and powerful, although one was so powerful it was painful! The other was much better. The kitchen /laundry area was well equipped although the oven was missing the shelves inside. Again it was all very clean.

Great stay with great service! We found we had all the amenities we needed and loved being situated close to the water. The camp is located close to Waitangi and Paihia so we were able to walk everywhere. Thoroughly recommend staying here! Thank you for the great stay

We arrived at Waitangi Holiday Park around 5pm, the staff on reception gave us all the usual information, then gave us some great tips on the local area. They were able to book our trip to the Hole in the Rock and gave us a small discount too. We struggled booking our next campsite on our mobile phone so they assisted with this to, doing it on the pc in reception, they definitely went above and beyond. The views at the side were amazing and the town was only a 15/20 minute walk away, where there were a few bars and restaurant. The Waitangi Treaty Grounds was only a 10 minute walk the other direction making it really well situated. Thank you for a great stay.
