This was one of the worst experiences I've had at a hostel. The room we were in must have been painted or the wood been lacquered (she said a month ago, there's no way. Smelled like it was done that morning)... The whole place smelled STRONG of toxic fumes. They refused to give us a refund. Literally being in the room for longer than 1 minute would give you a headache. I have no idea how they expected people to sleep in there. If they planned on having work done, they should have closed the hostel down for a day or two and let the room air out. We insisted that they moved us to the other room (there were only 2 rooms), and it was a little bit better, but still smelled toxic. Then, they tried to make me pay more because they put me in a bunk with a larger bed because no more small beds were available even though none of the big beds were being used. This hostel is in a decent location, but it was terrible. I would never recommend.

Fantastic place. very chilled, yet really central to Pai. Nice bit of peace and quiet, and a great vibe. The rooms are cool and well air-conditioned, and the capsules are comfortable. They used to do free eggs and bread for your breakfast, though I don't know if they do this anymore. It was a nice touch at the time! Staff are also super friendly and kind.
