My stay at Himalayan Hill Resorts, Pahalgam was far from satisfactory. I urge potential guests to consider these points carefully before booking. *Inadequate Room Location:The room assigned to me was unfortunately located directly next to the reception area. This resulted in constant noise and disruption throughout my stay, making relaxation and sleep difficult.* Unprofessional Staff: Unfortunately, the staff's demeanour throughout my stay left much to be desired. They lacked basic courteousness and often appeared disinterested in addressing my concerns. Unacceptable Food Quality: The food situation was particularly concerning. The buffet options were consistently: Cold: Even after bringing the issue to attention, it took an excessive amount of time to receive lukewarm replacements. Undercooked: Several instances of raw and undercooked food were encountered, raising serious safety concerns. Bland and unappetizing: The overall taste and presentation of the food fell far short of expectations. Insufficiently filled: Dishes seemed to run out frequently, and scraping the bottom of containers was often necessary. Unsanitary and Chaotic Dining Area: The cafeteria itself was quite unhygienic and poorly managed. The lack of adequate cleaning and organization created a chaotic and unpleasant dining environment. Management Inefficiency: Raising concerns to the staff initially proved unproductive. The chef even disregarded my feedback regarding the raw porridge, highlighting a lack of accountability. Thankfully, the manager intervened upon intervention and acknowledged the issue but didn't do anything to resolve it Unfortunately I have one for night booked with them and I don't know what all will come next.
